Keeva padded warily into the barn. She wasn't feeling too good, and the pups were kicking like crazy. 'They should be coming soon. Let's hope Brody doesn't notice that they don't look like him,' she thought. She carefully sat down into her nest, and relaxed. It didn;t last long, it was interrupted by a sharp tear inside her. Violent contractions shook her whole body, and she was convulsing wildly. Tears and rips erupted from inside her mid section. "HELP!" she howled in pain.

Diogenes rushed into the barn and saw Keeva writhing in pain. His silver eyes widened as he ran to her side. "Keeva, what's wrong?", he asked, fear in his voice.

Keeva tried to keep her mouth clamped shut, but the sear power of the pain over came her will power. "THEY ARE COMING! QUICK! HELP ME! GO AND GET RAIPER, I NEED A FEMALE IN HERE!" she howled at Diogenes. Another contraction sent her convulsing again.

Diogenes jumped back a foxlength, then slipped out the door. A moment later, Rapier's muscular black and white form appeared. "Okay, I'm here.", she woofed.

Keeva howled in pain one last time. "Help....me!" she howled before darkness over came here.
(Zipp-a-dee-do-dah Zipp-a-dee-ay. Skipping skipping, now play)
The creamy brown she wolf woke up to find tiny paws pushing at her side and whimpering. She lifted her head and saw three beautiful puppies. Two males and a female, the female was a light gray, the big male was a darkish creamy chocolate, much like Keeva, and the other big male was exactly like Diogenes. They also each had a aura around them. The female had a green aura, the black male an orange aura, and the brown male a purple aura. She licked each one of them.

Brody walked in and saw Keeva and the new pups with awe. "They are beautiful!" He whispered and he walked to her and licked her muzzle. But then he saw none of the pups inherited his golden pelt, but he batted that thought away.

"I know. Aren't they? Let's see, I want to name the black one Diogenes II, or Dio, for my dearest friend. Brody, would you like to name the rest?" she woofed. Keeva licked Dio's head and then Brody's muzzle.

"Okay then the dark cream one will be Zon, and the light gray will be Layla." Brody woofed happily.

"Dio, Zon, and Layla. The perfect puppies any wolf could ask for. Well come over here and meet them," Keeve murmured. Layla sneezed suddenly, and a rock flew past Keeva's head. "Woah!" she barked.

Brody looked terrified.
Zon suddenly whined and cried because Brody was unhappy.

"Shhhh. It's okay. Nothing is going to hurt you," she soothed to Zon. She turned to Brody, eyes awide. "What....was.....that?" she mouthed. Layla's green aura was burning brightly, she whined because Zon was.

Rapier looked at the pups in awe. "May I say, what beautiful pups you have.", she woofed. Diogenes hovered outside the barn, hearing the joyous yelps and woofs inside. He sighed. Dio was quiet and still, his orange aura growing brighter and duller in sync with his breathing.

"How could this be? They all have auras, which means they have powers. I think Layla can manipulate earth, or move it some how. I wonder what Zon and Dio have," she mused aloud. Keeva felt relaxed watching Dio sleep. She curled her tail around them and sighed.
Tokeshima padded up from behind Diogenes. "Are they yours?" he woofed softly.

Rapier's eyes, if possible, widened further, but she said nothing. Diogenes turned to Tokeshima. "Yes..", he admitted shamefully.

Tokeshima sighed and dipped his head slightly. "I figured. I could smell that the pack wolf didn't wasn't genuine like us, power wise. If they were his, their aura would be dimmer than it is now. Plus, they smell just like you and Keeva. Sickly sweet and the musty woods, a very good combination actually," he ran his tounge over his maw. "Do not be ashamed, Diogenes. You have a right to see them, and remember they are yours. Even though, Brody thinks they are his kin." Tokeshima touched Diogenes' shoulder with his scruffy tail tip. He peeked into the barn and saw the auras burning brightly, like a multicolored flame; yellow, green, orange, and purple.
