Diogenes sighed, though he was amused. "Uffff. Tuscanelli, please, refrain yourself.", he mumbled over a face-full of fur. Tuscanelli leaped off, allowing Diogenes to get up. His blue eyes were solemn. "I'm sorry, 'cuz, I just missed you that's all.", he woofed. Diogenes turned to his group, then to his family. "Come in; you all look very tired."

Keeva nodded. "How rude of me. Iam Keeva, and these are my pups; Layla, Dio, and Zon. And my mate, Brody," she woofed proudly.

Fenrir dipped his head as well. "It's an honor to meet you, Keeva, Brody, Tokeshima, Zon, Layla, and Dio.", he said. He and the others followed Diogenes into the barn.

Layla padded after them. Keeva shot Tokeshima an uneasy glance, but continued on.

"First things first. Where is Pendergast?", Fenrir asked. Diogenes stiffened at the mention of that name. "He is with Sun's Death.", Diogenes answered, controlling a rush of dislike. Daph looked at Zon, Layla, and Dio. "Are these your children? If so, that makes me a great grandmother!", she woofed excitedly. Diogenes' fur felt hot. "No, Daph. Zon, Layla, and Dio are Keeva's and Brody's pups.", he replied smoothly. Daph nodded, and turned to Keeva. "They're just the cutest things!", Daph exclaimed.

"Thank you Daph. They are mine and Brody's pride and joy. These are my two adopted children, Fiend and Malvina," she woofed pointing to them.
Layla padded up to Daph, her amber eyes sparkling. "Hiya! I'm Layla!" she yipped.

Daph looked down at Layla. "Hello.", she woofed, quite friendly. She loved pups. Diogenes noticed Cher's bad shoulder. "Cher, you're hurt.", he pointed out. "I know...", she whispered. Dio stalked up to the gray she-wolf. He didn't look at her as he put a paw on the wound. He concentrated, and silver light flowed from the gash. Though he hadn't made the wound disappear, he made it feel a whole lot better.

"Good job, brother!" Layla praised. She padded over to him. Concentrating on the earth, she made a little cove for Cher to rest in. "Here you go Cher, so you can relax," she woofed.

"Why thank you, Dio and Layla.", Cher woofed, and layed down in the cove. She immediately fell asleep.

"Right then. I suppose I will go and fetch you all some bedding. Rapier, come with me. I will need some assistance.", Diogenes said in a matter-of factly sort of way. Rapier's yellow eyes gleamed, and as they left, she glared and smiled at Keeva.

Keeva snarled a bit. She beckoned Tokeshima with her tail. He padded over, question in his eyes. "I want you to keep and eye on her. I don't trust her," she whispered. Tokeshima nodded and became invisible and followed after Diogenes and Rapier.

As they searched for moss, Rapier looked at Diogenes admiringly. She was, as of late, attracted to him. It was all part of her plan. Once she had gotten rid of Keeva, and secured her place as Diogenes' mate, she would be powerful. Rapier stalked up to Diogenes. "You know, Diogenes, you go through too much. What kind of love is it when you have to sneak around and lie?", she asked in her most seductive voice. Diogenes' silver eyes widened. ""How did you know about that?", he growled. Rapier's eyes sparkled. "I know a lot of things, and I know that you could do without Keeva. Face it, she loves Sunrise. She never truly loved you.", she murmured. Diogenes growled and tried to walk past her, but Rapier was insistent. She pushed Diogenes back against the tree, making him stand on his back legs. Rapier stood on her back legs too as she pinned his shoulders. "I could love you more than Keeva. I can give you an honest relationship.", she whispered in his ear. To anyone behind them, it looked like the two of them were kissing.
Don't attack and kill Rapier yet. I will make a seperate thread for that.
