 dun dun dun! Moonpaw stopped hunting and looked at the direction of Thornshadow's yelp. "Thornshadow," she gasped and ran. Moonpaw ran and saw Rose and Thornshadow fighting. "Thornshadow!" she growled. Then she threw her head back and howled,"Whiterain! Ashpaw!" "Think again," a voice behind her woofed. Moonpaw spun around to see Arawn towering above her. Arawn smiled then lunged in her direction, teeth showing. Moonpaw quickly jumped out of the way and latched onto his velvety ear. "You rat!" he growled. He shook his head, but Moonpaw wouldn't let go. Ashpaw's ears twitched as he faintly heard his name. He shrugged and continued to hunt, but something wasn't right. |

Thornshadow snarled and grabbed Rose by the scruff and flung her to a tree, hearing a creak to her tail.
Rose snarled in agony and felt her tail creak. She ran and jumped on Thornshadow and grabbed his ear and shredding it. "That's for my tail!" Then she ran her teeth on his muzzle and felt bone. "That's for being you!" And she bit harder and suddenly felt a creak and jumped down and waited to see what would happen.
Thornshadow whined as he felt his muzzle creak and then blood suddenly came rushing out of the muzzle bite.
Rose slammed into Thornshadow at his hind foot to make in fall then she jumped back.
Thornshadow yelped and fell down, hearing a bone crunch, pain shot up on his hind leg.
Rose smiled and walked to Thornshadow, and taunted him.
(Sorry but I am going to godmode with one of Rainy's wolves, I think it would be an interesting twist.)
Earhtshatter came out and Thornshadow snarled. "YOU!" Earthshatter smiled, he knew that Thornshadow couldn't defend himself. He walked toward Thornshadow and then Earthshatter walked to his enemy's back and then he bit his spin and ripped.
Thornshadow snarled and then began to fade into darkness. (He is going to die) Then he felt two pairs of jaws bit on his throat and ripped and then darkness over took him.
Earthshatter looked unconformable but Rose smiled wickedly.

Moonpaw released Arawn's ear and stared at Rose. "You....you...." she choked. Rage and fury overcame her and she charged. "How dare you!" she snarled. Moonpaw latched her teeth onto her ribs and bit down hard. She heard five or six sharp and rapid snaps. She tasted blood and flesh around her fangs. Tears ran down her cheek, which made her bite down harder.
Arawn stared at Rose. "Come on Rose, he's dead. Get that rat off you and let's go," he barked. "You too, Earthshatter."

Earthshatter nodded and walked to Arawn.
Rose nodded and kicked the apprentice full force, then biting the smaller wolf in the neck and flinging her to the trees, then running with Earthshatter and Arawn. And as she left, she could hear paws beating down on the ground, as Thornshadow's spit snarled at her.
Thornshadow made the energy to make himself appear and looked at Moonpaw's broken figure. "Moonpaw, I wish I could have stayed alive until you were a warrior, but I want to tell you that I am proud of you." He whispered in her ear and began to disappear.

"No," she whispered. Moonpaw struggled to her feet and limped over to Thornshadow's broken body. His eyes and mouth was frozen in fear, just as her father's when Keeva killed him. Gently, she closed his eyes and mouth. "This is for you, Thornshadow," she whispered in his ear. Warm tears streamed down the sweet gray face of the scarred apprentice. Gray legs collapsed and Moonpaw fell to the floor, her face buring in his bloody black fur, staining her multi gray pelt a violent scarlet. "Thornshadow, you were my best friend, my second father. Why must you leave me? Why must I had been your apprentice, if you died? I feel like I have killed you. I never should've been born, or become an apprentice," she sobbed into his fur.
Ashpaw ran and saw Thornshadow's body, and Moonpaw over it. "No," he gasped as he shook his head. He walked over to Moonpaw, tears streaming down his cheeks and laid a tail on her back. Moonpaw looked up at him with wet eyes.
"He died atrue warrior," Moonpaw muttered. She buried her face into Ashpaw's chest and cried more.

Whiterain heard all the commotion and ran towards the sounds, but she arrived too late. Thornshadow lay dead with blood pooling around him, and Moonpaw and Ashpaw were laying next to him. "What happened?!", she howled, anger and sorrow inher eyes.

"Rose, Arawn, and Earthshatter got to him. They killed him, I tried to protect him, but I was too weak," she sobbed. Moonpaw was spattered in blood and wet with tears. She turned her wet, emerald gaze to Whiterain. "Is it my fault he's dead?" she muttered.

Whiterain felt tears well up. Her golden gaze clouded and she seemed to be looking at something Moonpaw or Ashpaw could not see. "No, Moonpaw, it was not your fault. Those mouse-brained Sun's Death wolves know they shouldn't attack us; Yellowstar made us their allies. I will go straight to their camp and demand they stop attacking and slaughtering us, or we'll break off the alliance. I don't care if Yellowstar punishes me; this has gone too far, and it seems I must take charge of this matter.", she growled, though the plan she had put her and her unborn pup in danger.

"I'm going with you!" Moonpaw demanded. She wobbled to her paws and tears continued down her cheek. "They killed my mentor and I'm pretty sure they know where Keeva is. I want her dead!" she shrieked. Moonpaw threw her head back and howled, a long deep mourning howl. Ashpaw closed his eyes and bayed as well.

"Yes. I want revenge, we could bring Cocoamane and Venomfang, too." Ashpaw stood to his paws as well. "He was my friend too. I shall accompany you as well," he woofed bravely.

"Very well. I'll fetch Phoenixfeather and Moonrun. Ashpaw, help me carry Thornshadow's body back to camp. We'll have a vigil for him when we get back; it will be moonrise by then.", Whiterain sighed.
