A wolf sat in the middle of the Dark Forest, her yellow aura glowing around her. Keeva felt truly alone, she had no one to talk to. Tokeshima, Layla, Sunrise, and everyone else hated her. She missed her sons, grandchildren, and Diogenes. Tonight she'll try to meet with Diogenes again in his dreams. "Come on, Diogenes! You can make it!" she mumbled to herself.

After feeding his pack, Diogenes left to go sleep. He leaped onto his haystack, watching his family and friends curl up with warm, full stomachs. This thought made him feel better, at least. It was something to be joyous about, but he did not feel the pride that he used to feel. I know I need to move on, Diogenes thought as he closed his silver eyes. Slowly, the world he knew began to fade to dreams. ..But it's so...hard.
When he awakened, Diogenes found himself in a familiar place: the Dark Forest. But something seemed to have called him here. What..or who?

"Diogenes, I'd knew you'd come," Keeva sang prettily, walking up to her mate. She smiled wickedly.

The moment he saw her, Diogenes' heart began to pound in his chest, letting him know it was there. "Keeva!", he greeted warmly, wagging his tail in contentment. The black wolf strided across the remaining distance between them until the two were nose to nose.

"Diogenes!" she greeted warmly as her cold nose touched his. "You don't know how much I've missed you. Are the, erm, remaining kids doing alright?" she asked, wagging her tail and nuzzling his neck.

"They are doing excellent. Zon is fully grown now, with his own mate and children. Dio.....well, I haven't seen him. He's been doing great too. Still a young, fiery one he is. He and Malvina might have something. I'm proud of them all the same.", Diogenes replied.

Keeva smiled. "Good. Good. Malvina, huh? I always knew she had a thing for him. Like Star had a thing for Zon. Ah, things are good all around since I left, hmm? That Lucy, erg!" she growled at Lucy's name. She should be the alphess, not dead somewhere thanks to her insane daughter.

"I know.", Diogenes replied, downcast. "Its tough getting used to, because I miss you with each turning day."
