Sunspark felt she owed her stepson some of her time. With all of Orchidfrost's problems, she had almost forgotten about her mate's son. He needs me now, him and Orchidfrost, she thought. Padding over to the apprentices' den, she peeked in and found him there. "Hey Jerome. Want to share something to eat?", Sunspark asked, her blue eyes emitting a warm, hopeful glow.

The young warrior smiled. "Sure Sunspark," he replied smiling. He still saw his father's body in her eyes, but he let it go.

"Great! Let's go.", Sunspark replied, and lead the way towards the fresh-kill pile.

Ravenmane came into camp after patrol and grabbed something to eat. he saw Sunspark and Jerome and dipped his head in greeting before digging into his lunch.

Sunspark, as well, dipped her head in greeting as Ravenmane came into camp.

Kestrelhowl smiled at Ravenmane and padded to the fresh-kill pile. He grabbed a chunk of deer, big enough for him and Sunspark, and placed it in front of them. Sitting down, he smiled a bit. "So what's up?"

"Nothing much. Whitestar gave me an apprentice; far out! I didn't think she trusted me enough. And you, you've got a warrior name now.", Sunspark replied.

Kestrelhowl smiled bashfully. "Yeah. Who's your apprentice again? I kinda forgot," he smiled sheepishly. A sudden image of his father smiling made him zone out for a minute.
