Sadly, Blacktail and Reedsong don't quite understand that lmao. I dun want anyone to see them yet. So
Blacktail slipped out of the Windpack camp around sundown. His heart raced as he approached the Riverpack border. Thoughts of fear and doubt competed to take control in his head. But I love Reedsong. I WILL see her., he thought confidently. Blacktail was no fool, he knew very well that what he and Reedsong were doing was forbidden, but love is love. The white wolf stood by the border, his black tail flicking impatiently.
Reedsong arrived moments later. The last rays of sunlight hit her light brown fur at a perfect angle, making it blaze bronze. Her yellow eyes glimmered with love as she spotted Blacktail, and splashed without hesitation across the river to him. "Reedsong!", Blacktail woofed in delight as they touched noses. "Blacktail..", Reedsong whispered his name into his ear as they rubbed cheeks. The two love-struck warriors padded into a concealed hide-out that was hidden by ferns and bramble bushes. Blacktail sat next to Reedsong. "I was so nervous that I almost didn't want to come, but I love you, and I promised, so I had to.", Blacktail explained, unshamefully admitting his fears. Reedsong nodded in understanding. "Me too, but I had faith in you to keep your promise, and you did." Blacktail smiled and leaned over to lick Reedsong's cheek. She blushed; her white cheeks turning pale pink. Blacktail looked at his forbidden lover for a long time. "You're so beautiful, Reedsong.", he said after a while. She blushed again, and touched noses with Blacktail again. They laid down and watched the sun sink. For hours, each stayed silent, basking in the others' love. When the sky turned a dark violet-black, Blacktail stood up. "I must go; it is night and my sister and brother will wonder where I am." Reedsong frowned, but stood up as well. "Ok. When will we meet again?", she inquired. "In three suns, same place.", Blacktail replied. "Alright. Good-bye, Blacktail. I love you!", Reedsong called as he left the hide-out. She sighed and, after watching Blacktail disappear into the moor, departed, washed herself in the river, and returned to her Pack.
