Before I could send my typed up poems to the editor I hired, my mom requested she read the poems first. After she finished reading them, she said she didn't like what I had written. After three months of planning and writing, just to have to throw back in my face! -.- My mom makes me so mad sometimes. So now I cannot continue that book, but I am going to start another one, this time, a novel. It's called The Chronicles of Myriad. So far all I have is a story plot, and that is:
Constance Black {one of the main characters} is summoned to the principal's office during the middle of school. She soon learns tragic news: an arsonist set fire to her home. Her counselor immediately drives Constance to the scene of the crime to learn if her parents have survived, but the authorities say they both have perished. As she walks about the wreakage, she finds an odd-looking key, but pockets it, not thinking it has any value. Constance's friend, Artemis Crane, soon arrives and suggests she move in with him and his mother, as they have a guest room that had never been used. The next day, Constance shows Artemis the key she found and ponders over what it goes to. To figure things out, they both go back to the wreakage and explore, only to come across a secret trap door that had been hidden under a carpet. Underneath the house, the duo come across a vast array of corridors that lead to a chamber. Inside the chamber lies a door, a door that has been hidden since 1867, when the house was built. It appears locked, but, figuring out this mystery, Constance has the key, and unlocks the door, but what they find on the other side is a parallel world never seen by human eyes. However, little do Constance and Artemis know, they are being followed. Another has found the door, and will do anything to harness the power from this new world to dominate the Earth....
