This is chapter one, it isnt long but i'll make it longer


Chapter One, New School
Owen looked up at his new school. It had to be at least six floors tall. Owen and his sister just moved here from Florida. Owen couldn’t wait for school to start. He looked up at his sister, who thought differently.
Danielle looked down at Owen and smiled, but she looked back up, her face showed confusion, frustration, and fear. Owen could see it too.
“Look it’s the new kid,” Owen heard a boy say to another behind him. He turned around and greeted them.
“Hi, I’m Owen Falcon,” Owen said.
The boy just speaking hesitated before saying, “I’m Mike Anderson.” He narrowed his eyes.
“And I’m Chris Smith,” said the other boy as he fixed his glasses. As Chris and Owen began to chat, and Mike just watched them, Danielle went off to a group of eighth graders.
This must be the eighth graders hang out spot before school, thought Danielle. She came to a group of two girls. “Hi I’m Danielle Falcon,” she said.
“I’m Jordan Blackmar,” said one of the girls as she turned around.
Chris began showing him who was who. “That’s Mark. He a Football player, but a really nice guy, and that’s Jeff’s followers, Richard Cassen, Cody Morton, Jake Newman, and Jonathan peppers.”
“Who is Jeff?” Owen asked.
“Don’t worry, you’ll see him later,” Chris said trying to change the subject. “And that’s Jason. He is an awesome guy.”
“Hey Mike, and Chris,” Jason said as he came right up to them. “You must be that new kid. Hi, I’m Jason,” he said.
“Hey, I’m Owen,” he greeted.
“And there’s Mark,” Mike waved to him. Mark waved back.
“Oh, and there is Julie,” Chris said and waved. Mike did the same. Owen and Mark’s mouth fell open and their eyes widened. She looked amazing. She was a girl with light brown hair, and soft blue eyes. She walked over to the group.
“Well, I should go get ready for class,” Jane said as she began to leave.
“Ok, bye,” Danielle and Jordan called.
Jordan gave Danielle a look saying, I’m bored.
“Come on, I’ll introduce you to Owen. He is a nice guy,” Danielle told her. Jordan nodded and followed Danielle.
“Hey guys,” Danielle said as she came to Owen and his friends. “This is Jordan,” she said.
“Hi, I’m Owen,” Owen said. “This is Mike, Chris, Jason, Mark and Julie.”
Jordan greeted them. “It’s nice to meet you all.”
Owen was surprised. He was surprised that he met all these new friends so fast. He was also surprised about how he couldn’t stop glancing at Julie. She was amazing to him, and to think she was one of his friends now, this is great! He finally stopped staring at her and looked at Mark. He seemed to be in the same trance as Owen just was. She is mine! Owen thought angry in his head.
“Well, It’s time to go to class,” Chris said as he went inside. Mike and Jason followed. Jordan waited for Danielle, who waited for Owen, who waited for Julie.
“Come on, Owen. It’s time for class,” Danielle grabbed his arm. Owen didn’t want to leave Julie and Mark alone, but he felt better when he realized Julie and Mark were following them. They all came to one hallway, and they realized that they had their lockers right by each other. Chris was on the left of Mike, who was on left of Owen. Jason was two lockers to the right, and Owen had one free locker next to him that he could use. Mark was across from him, and Julie was next to Mark. Danielle and Jordan were father down to the right. A guy with a hood over his face stepped to the locker next to Chris. Chris was about to greet the kid, but instead the kid’s locker door met Chris’s face, and he fell over. The kid took off his hood, revealing blond hair and green eyes.
“HA! You should of seen your face,” the boy laughed.
“Who is that?” Owen asked.
“Jeff,” Mike growled angrily. He can see why they hate him so much. Jeff put his backpack in his locker, got his books, and laughed as he walked away. Owen could see why Chris and Mike hate him so much. He got his books and waited for Chris, Mike and Jason. Julie already left and Mark was just leaving. Class was about to start he had to go to IRLA, with Mrs. Kada.
As they went into the class, she smiled at them, but nobody smiled back. Owen went up to her. Right as he spoke her mood seemed to change. “Mrs. Kada, I’m Owen the n-“ he was interrupted.
“I don’t care right now. Get out your homework.”
“But I don’t have any.”
“You didn’t bring in your homework? It must stink to get points off on the first day,” Mrs. Kada pretended to be sad for him.
“But I-“
“Back to your seat Owen Falcon, or do you want a detention too?” Owen nodded at seat in-between Chris and Jason.
Chris leaned over and whispered. “You’re never supposed to talk to her, because you will always get in trouble.” Owen nodded.
Owen sat down in Mr. Melchor’s history class, next to Mike and a boy named Austin Cohen. Owen saw that across the hall Danielle sat next to Jordan, and to a girl named Heather Cohen. She was Austin’s brother. Owen noticed that Julie was in this class, and Mark wasn’t. That thought made him extremely happy, but he got sad again when Mr. Melchor asked for homework. He took points off for not having it.
Mr. Smith was really nice, since he was Chris’s dad. He secretly let Chris and his friends do extra credit, without telling anyone. So far Owen liked him, especially because he didn’t ask for homework on the first day. Owen, Chris, Mike, Julie, and Mark walked out of that class happy, and joyful, and it got better when they got to Mrs. Cohen’s class. She was Austin and Heather’s mom, and she loved to let the kids play the instruments. She let them play instruments the whole time during class. Lunch was enjoyable for Owen, Mike and Chris. Mike got revenge on Jeff by tripping him with his foot. Jeff fell over on his face and the whole table laughed at him. Then, his followers, helped him up and brought him to another table. The best part was that Jeff didn’t know they did it.
Owen just left his friends to go to Math class with Mrs. Brown. Math was his worst subject, and he has never gotten an A for Math on the report card. None of his friends were in his class, but Jordan walked next to him, because her class was across the hall.
“You’re going to be fine,” Jordan tried to reassure him.
“But I always screw up when it comes to math. It’s my worst subject, and you guys aren’t in my class.
“You’re going to be fine,” Jordan repeated. Owen smiled gratefully at his new friend. He waved to her as she walked into her class.
What if she is mean? I won’t be able to do anything right if she is mean. He walked into the classroom, and saw the one person he didn’t want to see, Jeff. He shared math class with him. Owen was screaming in his head, but then he looked at the teacher. Mrs. Brown smiled at him, but then he remembered that Mrs. Kada did the same thing, but screamed at him right after. He sat down, as far away from Jeff and Mrs. Brown as he could.
Mrs. Brown seemed a little hurt, but then she changed her thoughts. She must of thought Owen was shy, because she asked, “Why don’t you sit up here, Owen Falcon?”
“OK,” Owen hesitated before moving up. He sat in the first row, right by the teacher, but he was still far away from Jeff. The class became easier for Owen because of how nice Mrs. Brown was. She felt like doing something nice, so she cut our homework in half. From that moment on, Owen knew he had the best math teacher ever.


(me and my friend at school are coming up with awesome idea, like the science room explosion, the lunchroom garbage can ride, and the gym room rope swing, theseare only part of chapters, that I will probably post here too, the next chapter is call the hunt for the chip)

A man with black hair, and blue eyes walked down a dark red hallway. He turned to the left into a room.
“Kano!” a man inside called for him. “I think I found where it is.”
“You know where the chip is?” Kano was surprised.
“Show us,” the women said.
“Patience, Azami, we will learn how to get it when the time comes,” Kano said to the women. Azami didn’t care. She waited impatiently. Suddenly, the door slammed open and a man walked inside.
“Gio, I think Yukio found where the chip is,” as Kano spoke, Gio ran towards the computer and shoved Azami out of the way. Azami gasped, but went to the other side of Kano to see.
“It’s in, the middle school?” Yukio was confused.
“That would explain all the falcons there.” Azami said. “They are protecting it.”
Gio nodded. “So how will you guys get in?”
“How are we getting in?” Kano corrected.
“No, just you guys, I will stay back here at HQ and give you guys instructions,” Gio talked his way out of going.
“He is the best at making plans,” Yukio said.
“And he’s the leader,” Azami added.
“Fine, fine, but you have to tells us everything you can,” Kada decided.
Gio nodded. “I won’t let you guys down. So, how are you guys going to get in,” he stressed the word you because he didn’t want any more arguments.
Yukio, Kano, and Azami thought for a moment. “Wait, why can’t we just go in after school?” Azami asked.
“Because there will be teachers, janitors, and kids still there, and at least one will call the police,” Gio shot down the idea fast.
“I have an idea,” Yukio said.
“Well spill it,” Kano said harshly.
“Well, soon the jewish holiday Rosh Hashanah will happen, and it’s on a Friday, so no one will be there. If we get in before they lock the door, there is a good chance that nobody will catch us,” Yukio explained his idea.
Azami didn't look like she was listening, but Kano and Gio thought for a second. They both nodded to each other.
“Ok. We will go with your plan, but if someone catches you and you don’t get arrested, I will personally kill you,” Gio said, coldly. Yukio nodded fearfully. Gio turned towards Kano. “You will be leading this mission. Without the chip, our plans for the destroying New York City will be lost.”
Kano nodded. “We will bring back the chip fully operational.”
“Good,” Gio turned and walked out the door. Why does he have to be like that? Kano asked himself in his head. He turned to Yukio and Azami. “Work! We need to get our plans done today.” Azami and Yukio nodded. Yukio turned around back to his computer, and Azami went to a different one. Kano sat down and began to think of ideas on how to do this when Yukio got up and handed him the floor print of the school. It also said that the chip was in the Media Center. Suddenly, an idea hit him. He turned to the others. “Guys, I think I’ve come up with an idea to hold the falcons at the school. It’s time to show them our birds.” Azami nodded and lifted silk off of some boxes, reavealing that they were cages. Each bird had its own cage, with the bird’s name on it. The cages said, Blood, Shadow, River, Wind, Void, Rosemary, Quatum, Starry, Echo, Fade, Quil, Ice, Fire, Claw, Tiger, Eyes, Glare, Storm, Bone, and Flame. The birds also had collars with their name, but were so thin that only the name of the bird cold be see, and nothing else.
“Yes, this is perfect,” Azami said. “Now we need is to know where we would kill other people if we found them.”
“I think we can trap them in the bathroom, because it’s small and there is only one exit,” Yukio spoke up.
“I like that. Now back to work, I want us to be ready by the time Gio returns,” Kano said and went to an open computer.

Chapter Three, Locked In
Owen, Chris, Mike, Jason, Julie, Mark, Danielle, Jordan, Jane, and some other kids sat at a table together for lunch, which was almost over. Owen has been here for two weeks, and is starting to fit in. Mike growled under his breath, as Jeff walked over to their table. “Happy almost Rosh Hashanah,” Jeff said. Mike, Chris, and Owens’s eyes widened. “Here is some apples and honey.” Owen was confused. Mike didn’t believe the bully. Chris felt uncomfortable.
“No thanks. I’m not hungry anymore,” Chris hesitated before talking.
“Oh, than let me just give it to you for later,” Jeff had an evil look on his face. “Here are some apples,” Chris gasped as Jeff shoved apples down the back of Chris’s shirt. “And here is some honey,” Jeff said as he slammed the platter of honey into Chris’s face. When Chris removed the platter, his face was covered in honey. Tears ran down Chris’s face as he got up and ran out the door. Jason, Owen, Julie and Mark ran after him. Mike, Danielle, and Jordan were glaring at Jeff.
Jeff burst into laughter. “Do you think that was funny?” Mike snarled. “What’s your problem?”
“Stay out of my way, Anderson, and you’ll make it through the school year,” Jeff threatened as he and his followers began to leave, but Mike put his foot out and tripped Jeff as he did every lunch period. Jordan and Danielle giggled. “Why does that happen every day?” Jeff asked angrily. Cody, John and Jake didn’t know why, but Richard was glaring at him. He must have seen Mike trip him. The five boys walked away.
Mike, Danielle, and Jordan got up and followed the others to the bathroom. When they got there, they saw Julie waiting outside, leaning on a wall. Danielle and Jordan leaned next to her as Mike went inside. Mike saw Jason put apples in the trash, as Mark and Owen helped Chris clean the honey. “I hope the next time he comes in here, he dies,” Chris said harshly.
I do too, thought Mike. As he helped Jason get all the apples out of Chris’s shirt, he said, “Well, he won’t come in here for a while. I heard him telling Cody that he tries to never go to the bathroom during school.” Chris got angry. “But, I did make him fall onto his face again.”
“Thank you! You guys are the best friends I could have,” Chris felt so much better knowing that Jeff got embarrassed again. Owen felt a great surge of happiness for his friend, and for what his friend just said. Now, Owen really feels like he is part of this school.
Math class was easy for Owen, even though he and Jeff glared at each other the whole time. He couldn’t believe that Jeff didn’t care about what he did to Chris. He probably forgot about it by now.
Once the bell rang, Owen zoomed out of the classroom to his locker. He heard someone on the loud speaker saying, “Teachers are leaving at the same time as kids. There are no late buses, and the school is being locked up early, so make sure to not miss your bus.” Chris and Mike were talking to each other there. Jason ran over to Mark to tell him about something funny in his last period. Mark left his friend Andrew Silverman, and talked to Mike. Andrew looked really weird, and walked in a weird way. He couldn’t believe Mark was best friends with him. Mark must be good an hiding his weirdness.
As Owen was packing his backpack, two boys came up to him. Owen hasn’t met them before, so he greeted them. “Hi, I’m Owen Fa-“
“I’m Joey. You must be a new id. HI! This is Angel. Angel and I are best friends. We became best friends in 2nd grade when……….” The boy started chatting nonstop. I scared Owen a little, so when he got all his books, he slowly backed away.
Owen wasn’t paying attention to what the boys are saying, but at one point, Angel gasped, and then laughed, hard. Joey and Angel high fived each other, and then looked at where Owen was. They shrugged and went the other way.
“Joey Bushwell, and Angel White,” Mark sighed. “They’re the best of friends, but they scare me.” Owen nodded in agreement. Danielle and Jordan came to the 7th grade locker to get Owen and his friends, but someone else came the other way. It was Jeff. His followers weren’t there, so they must be saving him a seat on the bus. He went straight to Mike.
“You,” Jeff snarled. “You were the one that kept on tripping me every lunch period.”
“So what if I was?” Mike challenged. For two weeks he had wanted to punch Jeff.
Owen and Chris tensed as Mike and Jeff became more and more, angrier at each other. Julie started walking towards where Owen and Mark were. Danielle and Jordan didn’t know what was going on but they realized the issue when Mike and Jeff leaped at each other. Chris, Danielle and Jordan dropped the backpacks to hold back Mike, while Julie, Jason, Mark and Owen did the same to hold Jeff from tackling him. As Jeff tried to break free, his fist met Julie’s face and she fell over. Anger exploded through Mark and Owen as they threw Jeff to the ground. Mark tackled him like how they do in football practice, and Owen followed. Chris’s hands slipped and he left go of Mike. The two eighth grade girls couldn’t hold Mike any longer and he broke free. He helped Owen and Mark tackle Jeff, but Jeff threw all three of them off. A second later, they all jumps back on. Julie got up and wobbled a bit before trying to get Mark away. Danielle tried to rip Owen away from the fight, and Jordan tried to pull Mike out. As Chris watched, he remembered, how his face was covered in honey, and his shirt was filled with apples. Anger began to flow through Chris as he jumped onto Jeff. Jason tried to pull him off. The fight went on for 20 minutes, until Jeff’s fist met Chris’s, and Owens’s face. As they fell back, Mike punched Jeff in the face. He felt satisfaction that he had done what he wanted to do since 4th grade.
Yukio slowly opened the door. Azami followed him. Kano was last to close the door. Kano had cages to catch the falcons protecting the chip. Their plan was to hide there until 8pm, by that point it will be dark and nobody will be there. As Yukio walked in front he saw three janitors, and they saw him. One of them was named Bob Johnson. He said, “Hey, you shouldn’t be here. You have to leave, now.” The other two janitors, Mandy Sander and Andy Stone nodded in agreement. The three killers closed the knives they were hiding and put them away. They walked up to the janitors, and grabbed their necks. As Bob and Andy went out cold, Kano and Yukio dropped them. Mandy was still awake for the moment.
“Come, throw them into the basement,” Kano said as he picked up Bob. Yukio picked up Andy.
“But that only opens from outside,” Mandy gasped for breath. Azami took the keys out of Mandy’s pocket, as she went out cold. Yukio opens the door to the basement and tossed the janitors inside. He slammed the sound proof door shut as the janitors began to wake up.
Yukio locked the door that they came into, making people think that the janitors left. They went to their hiding spot in the lunchroom.
Danielle ran to the door, but it was locked. Jordan ran to the front door, but it wouldn’t open. All the cars outside were gone except for three. She wondered who those three were belonged to. Everyone, even Jeff was looking for an open door, but none were open. Since Danielle and Jordan texted each other through classes, their phone had died. Jeff through Mike, and Owens’s cell phone’s into a water fountain and then turned it on, before. Chris’s phone went home with his dad, and Julie and Jason forgot to bring theirs. Mike had crushed Jeff’s cell phone. Once they realized that nobody could call home or the police, their hopes of escaping plummeted. They knew that everybody was supposed to be at Julie’s house, but then Julie said she told her parents that they would be at Chris’s house. It just got worse, and worse. By 8pm, the hallway began to heat up, so they began to walk to a place that they knew was always cool, the Media Center.

Chapter Four, the Computer Chip
Yukio, Kano and Azami slowly went into the Media Center. Inside a case, they saw the computer chip. They slowly went to grab it went they heard footsteps from down the hall. It was Owen and his friends. Jeff went somewhere else because he thought he didn’t need them.
“No! Someone else is here!” Kano whispered. “Hide in the hiding place we made!” Azami and Yukio jumped behind the check out desk, while Kano hoped on top of a shelf next to the door. He accidentally kicked a book off the shelf. Kano was going to leap on one of them. Mike opened the door, and walked though followed by Jordan, Danielle, Chris, Mark, Jason, and Owen. Julie went to the bathroom and said she would meet them there. Owen looked out the window to see a falcon, just sitting there, as if it was waiting for something.
Owen walked over to the window, and Mike followed. He tried to open it, and did open it a little, but then realized that the window would only open enough for the falcons to come in. He saw falcon after falcon line up in front of Mike and Owen.
“Where did all these falcons come from?” Owen asked.
“I don’t know, they came around the time the school found the computer chip.” Each bird had a tag. Owen and Mike read them as the others kids came and did the same. The tags said, Melanor, Cinder, Moon’s Gaze, Moonlit, Artemis, Emerald, Rain, Mist, Hawk, Bright, Retro, Silent, Breezy, Tainter, Phoenix, Dawn, Leaf, Thunder, Sky, Star, Steel, and Willow. Suddenly, they heard movements from behind the check out desk. Yukio and Azami tried to keep the birds quiet, but it was obvious that they wanted to fight, so they let them out. The birds Owen and the others just looked at turned the heads at the same time and saw the evil birds come and attack. They fought back.
Then, Julie came in, and saw birds fighting. She backed away towards the shelf that Kano was on. Her foot hit the book on the ground and she picked it up. She looked up when she tried to find where it goes, when she saw Kano up there. Julie screamed. Owen and Mark whipped around, as Kano took out his knife and jumped, but Owen took a book from the shelf near him and threw at the killers face, making his knife miss Julie. Jordan and Danielle gasped. Yukio popped out of the check out desk as Julie ran away.
“You weren’t supposed to get caught,” Yukio cried. “Now, Gio is going to kill me!”
“Shut it, Yukio,” Kano ignored his cry. “If you want to live, you have to have all of them dead.” Yukio nodded and took out his knife. He was advancing on Jason. Mike had an idea. He rammed into the shelf, making it fall over. Yukio almost sliced Jason’s head off when the shelf landed on him. Melanor followed Owen. He saw a lady there opening the case.
“Azami! Help us fight!” Kano called.
“Wait! Let me get the chip first,” Azami called back. Kano nodded.
The chip! Of course, if all the falcons came at the same time it was found, and they already knew who their enemy was, the chip has to be important, Owen explained in his head. He was about to tackle her, like how he did to Jeff, but Kano jumped in his way.
“You’re not stopping us,” Kano said as he took out a knife. Mike charged at Azami as Chris through a book at Kano’s knife, allowing Owen to run away. Mark ran over the shelves, to where Julie and Jason were. Yukio got out from under the shelf. Jason and Julie pushed a shelf as they saw Yukio charging at Mike, but it was the one that Mark was on and he slipped off. Mark crashed into Jason, and the shelf hit Yukio. Kano was advancing on the three kids. Danielle and Jordan tried to open the window more, but it wouldn’t move. Star and Starry crashed into each other. Starry went outside and Star followed. Danielle and Jordan picked up books, and threw them at Kano. Mike came behind her and then jumped. As Mike threw one of his arms around Azami neck, the other one grabbed the chip.
Kano charged at him. “Mark,” Mike called as he threw the chip towards him. Mark caught it and then Kano charged at Mark. They must be chasing whoever has it. He tossed it to Julie, and she tossed it to Jason.
“Danielle,” Jason called and threw the chip in her direction. Danielle caught it and passed it to Jordan. Jordan tossed it to Chris, who passed it to Owen.
“Owen! Look out!” Danielle called. Owen turned his head just in time to catch the chip. Kano charged at him, and Owen opened the door the door closed in. Jason and Chris ran behind the shelf by the door, and pushed it, making it fall on Kano. The two boys ran out the door. Julie and Mark were chased by Yukio, as Jordan hid behind a shelf; she popped her foot out to trip Yukio. Danielle opened the door and the three kids ran out. Danielle followed. Mike threw Azami to the ground and ran out the door. As the kids split up into different hallways, the killers did the same. Owen, Chris, Mike, Yukio, and many birds flooded the stair room.
There was an exit there, but it wouldn’t open. Yukio charged in after the three boys. Hawk was fighting Blood. Chris ran to the top of the stairs, while Mike stayed at the bottom. Owen was caught by Yukio on the stairs. Azami charged in from the second floor to Chris. Down by Mike, two birds charged in as they fought. It was Leaf and Echo. Owen ducked as the knife came his way. It went into the wall, and he ran to the other side. Kano growled. Echo advanced on Mike, but Leaf crashed into her on the side. Azami sent her knife in Chris’s direction, but he back off the edge, and the knife missed. Chris grabbed the edge of the stairs and screamed for his life. He looked down and saw Leaf, holding Echo’s dead body; he gasped, but still held on. Azami threw a knife at Hawk, who came crashing down onto Chris. His hands began to slip. Leaf flew up and attacked Azami, making it hard for her to get to Chris. The bird pushed Azami down the stairs. Yukio took out his knife, and was about to use it. Owen had no place to run. Yukio swung, but Azami crashed into him, sending them to the bottom. Chris’s hands slipped, but Mike caught him when he fell. Chris and Mike flew out the door, followed by Leaf. Blood followed them out, but turned to a different hallway. Yukio and Azami charged threw the door and after the kids.

I don't have much to do after school on must days, since i got cut from the soccer team
and srry, but a ton of birds die in this chapter

Chapter Five, War
Julie and Mark ran down the stairs to meet with Chris, Owen and Mike. Danielle and Jason came, but Jordan wasn’t there. They even saw Jeff come to them. He looked freaked out.
“Where is Jordan?” Danielle asked.
Owen hung his head. “They must have got her.” Danielle and the others hung there head like Owen, but Mike looked back up.
“Ok, now it’s personal, we’re taking those killing to jail, and I know how,” Owen was glad, but Mike’s ideas were always worth listening to. Something, he came up with brilliant ideas. Jeff got angry.
“Hey, who put you in charge of this?”
Mike looked straight into Jeff’s eyes. “Look, everyone here doesn’t care if you die. They might actually enjoy it. So if you don’t listen and shut up, you’re alone in this.” That got Jeff to close his mouth fast. Mike went back to his idea. “Look, they want to computer chip,” Owen took it out of his pocket. “And they will kill to get it,” Mike continued.
“I don’t see where you are going with this,” Chris said.
Mike ignored him. “So if we use it as bait…”
“We can trap them,” Danielle cheered.
“Good,” Mike said. “So here is the plan.”
Kano was listening to the plan the whole time. He knew if he attacked them now, they all had a good shot at getting away. Melanor landed on Owen’s arm.
Kano found Yukio and Azami. He told them about the plan that the kids had made. As they looked for the math room, the kids had dropped the chip right by the door. Jason was supposed to lead them here, and run into the Math room, making it seem as if he dropped it, but Chris, Mike and Danielle were on wooden bars on the roof. Chris and Mike were holding a net to catch them. Danielle was holding a thin rope tied to the chip. Owen, Jeff and Mark had to protect Mike, Chris and Danielle, while Julie stood watch for Jason. Owen heard screams in the distance, and hoped Jason was okay. Jason ran from Kano, while Yukio and Azami went to the math room. Jason ran into a dead end. Kano slowly got closer and closer until he was right up from them.
“It’s time that one of you die,” Kano said. Jason heart beat so fast that he thought it might stop. Kano slowly reached into his pocket for his knife. It wasn’t there. Kano must of dropped it when he was listening to the kid’s plan. He knew where it was, but he couldn’t just leave, because Jason would run away. Kano grabbed Jason’s arms; Jason tried to free himself, but Kano was to strong. Kano opened a locker and shoved him in. The locker next to it had a lock that wasn’t locked, so Kano looked the locker with it. He heard Jason crying inside, and laughed to himself. At that moment, Emerald crashed into Kano back, sending him into the locker. Kano growled, but remembered that the locker next to the one Jason was in was open. He opened the locker, and there were a few books inside. He stood in front of the open locker. There was no way Emerald would know how to get out. Emerald charged at Kano’s head, but Kano ducked and the flacon went straight into the locker. Kano quickly closed the door and locked Emerald inside. Kano then left to retrieve his knife.
Julie announced that the killer was coming. She ran into the Math room. Azami and Yukio ran towards the chip, as if they had no idea what the kids would do. As they reached the chip, Chris and Mike dropped the net, but the killers were ready. The quickly dodged it and threw knives up to the wooden bars. They hit the bar the kids were standing on, and it began to crack. Azami dived for the chip, but they had added on to their plan. Danielle yanked her rope, and the chip flied out of Azami’s reach. She growled angrily. Suddenly, the wooden bar snapped, and Owen, Mark, and Danielle slid down. Chris grabbed onto a nail hanging out of the bar, and Mike grabbed onto him. Yukio and Azami caught the kids. Yukio took the chip out of Danielle’s pocket. At that moment, Chris lost his grip, and he and Mike fell into Azami, freeing Danielle and Jeff. Yukio thought that they had finally won, when someone shoved him to the ground. It couldn’t be Owen, Chris, Mike, Danielle, or Mark, so who did that? It was Julie. She grabbed the chip from Yukio’s hand. Shoving Yukio to the ground freed Owen and Mark, who followed Julie. Chris, Mike, Jeff and Danielle ran to catch up with them.
The seven kids ran into the band room, and the two killers followed. Kano came shortly after. He ripped off the bongos from there stand and threw them at Owen. Azami begins to collect cymbals. Mike and Jeff ran from Yukio. Kano threw a knife and Julie, but she ducked at it went to Danielle. She blocked it with a snare drum. Yukio ripped to congas away from each other, and threw one at Mike, and one at Jeff. Owen picked up drum sticks as Kano did. Kano was about to hit Owen with it, but Owen blocked it with his own. Owen tried to hit Kano but he blocked just like Owen. They began fighting each other with the drum sticks. Kano began to get mad. He took the drum sticks and swung them like a baseball bat. Kano knocked the drum sticks right out of Owens’s hands. He was about to knock Owen out cold. Chris was using a snare drum for protection. Julie took it from him and was advancing on Kano. Just as Kano was about to swing, Julie crashed the snare drum into his head. Kano’s head went straight through it.
Artemis and Rosemary were fighting in the hallway, by the elevator. Rosemary crashed into Artemis and the hurt falcon accidently pushed the button to open the elevator. As the door opened, Rosemary flew inside and Artemis followed. Rosemary charged at Artemis, but Artemis went under her, and she accidently crashed into the buttons, making the elevator go up. Above the elevator was Blood. He carried a knife with him, and began to cut the wires, to the elevator, after he cut a few, the rest snapped; Artemis and Rosemary plunged into the basement, scaring the janitors. The elevator crashed into the ground, sending a loud crashing sound around the school. It made Chris jump.
Kano ripped the drum off his head, and ran to Yukio. Together, they pushed a shelf to where the birds were fighting. All the birds flew away, except for Rain, who was crushed. Danielle gasped. Bright and Glare battling fiercely. Azami found five cymbals. She threw one at Jeff, like a Frisbee, but Jeff ducked.
Star, Sky, Thunder, Blood, Shadow, River and Wind chased each other out of the room. Jordan was still looking for her friends when she saw them coming her way. She gasped and ran into the stair room. The birds followed her and the door closed behind her. Blood tried to crash into her but she ran her the stairs and he missed. Jordan ran out the door to the second floor. The birds were trapped inside the stair room. Blood crashed in Thunder, while Wind attacked Star, but missed. Sky had to battle Shadow and River, but wasn’t succeeding.
Azami threw more cymbals at Jeff. He blocked the first one with the drum that went into Kano’s head. Cinder and Quil were fighting each other. Tiger and Claw were fighting Breezy and Tainter. Yukio slowly and quietly walked behind Breezy and Tainter, and threw a cage down on them, trapping them. Yukio closed the cage and threw them out the window, because they were on the third floor. Owen knew that there was no way the birds would make it through the fall. Then, Owen saw another cage. He did the same thing Yukio had done and trapped Tiger and Claw inside of the cage. Owen wasn’t cruel enough to through them out the window, so he threw them into the band room closet, and locked the door.
Owen turned around to see Glare holding Bright’s dead body. Glare looked as if she would fall over, and she did what Owen expected. He watched her breathing slowly stop. She must have died of blood loss, Owen thought.
Jordan was running, but she stopped. She quickly turned and ran because she found a knife on the ground. She was running back to the stair room. Star flew up to dodge Wind, and then went straight down and crashed him into the ground. Wind stopped moving. Sky had killed River already but couldn’t take on Shadow any longer. Shadow was about to kill her, when Blood tried to crash into Thunder, but Thunder ducked, and he crashed into Shadow. Shadow slammed into the wall, and hit the ground. Shadow had died. He turned to see Sky, barely staying in mid air. He crashed into her and they both went behind the stairs. Blood came back out and dropped Sky’s body next to Hawk’s body. Blood flies up and Thunder charges after him. Blood was coming up to the stair railing. Right as he got to it, he quickly turned and flew straight up, while Thunder crashed into the railing. He couldn’t get his head out. Blood landed on the stair railing, across from Thunder. Then, he flew straight at Thunder, knocking his head out of the railing. Thunder fell to the ground, dead.
Blood turned his head to see the only bird left, Star. He charged at her, and was about to crash into her, when the door slammed open, and Jordan ran inside. Blood went straight into the door, and Jordan screamed. The door closed. Jordan ran down the stairs and opened the door. They girl ran out, followed by Star. Blood got out just before the door closed, but lost his enemies. Jordan stopped at a spot where the hallways meet. Star landed on her arm. Jordan watched as Willow chased Flame. Bone slowly followed behind.
Jordan ran past the band room, but didn’t look through the window to see who was inside. Jeff had dodged all of Azami’s cymbals. Yukio ran out the door as he saw Jordan run by. Owen, Julie, Mark, Jeff and Danielle fled out the door, but went in a different direction as Yukio. Kano followed the kids out the door. Soon, Chris opened the door and Mike ran out. Chris followed, but slammed the door in Azami’s face. She growled and swung it open, but saw the two boys already running away.
He followed her into the science room. The teacher in the science was room was having her first year of teaching, and Jordan loved her because she would be so nice, but sometimes she wouldn’t put things away. They were working with extremely dangerous, explosive, and somewhat toxic chemicals today, but the science teacher left them out. Yukio followed Jordan into the room and startled her. She backed up to the end of the room. She tried to open the windows behind her, but they would move. She was trapped. Yukio took out his knife. Jordan noticed that the chemical were on a rolling table next to her. As Yukio threw his knife, Jordan pushed the table towards it. The knife crashed into the chemicals and Jordan dived behind a desk. Jordan hears a loud sound, and becomes def for a moment. She slowly looks up to see chair and desks blown away from the table, with was knocked over. Yukio was blown into the wall and was out cold. His knife was bent and crushed by a table. Jordan also noticed that the desk she was behind was blown into the wall, and she would have been crushed but the legs hit the wall and stopped the table. The whole room was a mess. Suddenly, Jordan got scared, knowing that the explosion might have sounded through the school.

Chapter Six, the Meeting
Owen jumped as he heard a loud sound and stopped, but the other kids kept on running. He started to look around for what caused that noise. Then, he realized that it must be the science room, and someone must be there. He turned around to see his friends gone. Owen heart began to beat, and he looked around in fear. Something began to move towards him, but he couldn’t see what it was. Then, Owen screamed as he saw the reflection a knife moving with the creature. It was Kano! Owen ran down the hallway, and Kano ran after him. Owen ran by the lockers, and headed towards the science room, Jason must have been the one that made that explosion.
Julie, Mark, Danielle, and Jeff ran down the hallway, towards the science room. Once they got to the door, they heard footsteps and screaming from down at the other end of the hallway. It was Mike and Chris. The four kids opened the door, and screamed as the saw Yukio. They stopped. Yukio was out cold.
“That was close,” Danielle said.
“Definitely,” Mark said. They walked inside to see Jordan’s head pop out of her hiding spot. Her eyes glimmered with joy. Danielle ran to her and gave her a hug.
Jeff and Mark threw Yukio out of the room as Chris and Mike ran inside. Danielle quickly closed the door before Azami could get in. Owen ran down towards the room, and saw Azami there. He gasped. Azami turned around with a glad look on her face. She ran at him, as Kano came behind him. Kano tried to slice his head off, but Owen ducked. He ran away from Kano and towards Azami, but Owen was ready. He jumped and landed on his knees. He began to slide on the floor, and he slid right past Azami. She growled angrily as Chris opened the door and let Owen inside. Mike quickly closed the door and locked it.
“That won’t hold them for long,” Owen said. As Kano tried to break in, Azami was trying to wake up Yukio. Yukio’s eyes flew open as if he saw the explosion again. Azami smacked him back to normal. Kano took out his knife and plunged it into the door. He knew he would get hurt if he threw it through at the glass. Julie gasped as she saw the tip of his knife. Mark looked for a place to escape. He got the idea when he looked up.
“Guys, Let’s use the vents,” Mark whispered, so the killers wouldn’t hear him. The other kids nodded and jumped onto the teacher’s desk. Jeff and Chris opened the vent and climbed inside. Kano was almost in. Julie climbed inside, followed by Jordan and Mark. Danielle and Owen went in next.
Mike was about to go in, when he heard Jordan scream. Suddenly, Julie gasped and Danielle hit the side of the vent. Owen almost fell out, but he climbed back in. A falcon flew out as Owen climbed back in. It was Quil. He began to chase Mike. Mike grabbed the fish tank and took the top off. He slightly tilted it away from him as Quil charged at him. Mike quickly put the fish tank in front of his face and Quil flew inside. Mike quickly closed Quil in there. He placed the tank down, as Quil gasped for air, and slowly drowned.
Mike began to climb up to the vent, when Kano broke the door and ran inside. He saw Mike’s legs hanging out of the vent, and aimed his knife. He ran up and was about to stab Mike when Owen turned and grabbed Mike’s hand. He pulled him in the vent and Kano knife went into the table. He growled. The kids climbed through the vent as Kano began to climb in. Yukio and Azami followed the vent out of the science room, waiting for kids to come out. Farther down the hallway, Owen climbed over another door in the vent, and it snapped open. Owen fell and grabbed onto Danielle’s foot. That made Danielle slip and fall with him, but Mark and Julie grabbed onto Danielle’s foot. They held both Owen and Danielle. Mike climbed around the door. Kano saw moment, and threw a knife. It missed Mike’s head by one foot. Mike gasped and backed up into Julie, making her loose her grip, and fall through the door. Mark tried to hold all three of them, but couldn’t and fell with them.
“Just go, or Kano will catch you,” Owen called to Mike. He nodded and kept moving. A few seconds later Owen saw Kano crawl around the door. He threw a knife down, but it had no aim and didn’t hit anybody. Kano growled as the four kids ran away. He kept on crawling towards the kids in the vent.
Owen and Julie took the lead, followed by Danielle, and then Mark. As the passed a spot where two hallways meet, Danielle grabbed the hoods of Owen and Julie’s hoodies to hold them back. Owen didn’t know why at first, but when knife flew across the other hallway, he knew that Danielle had saved their life. Yukio and Azami ran down to the kids. Yukio threw a knife at Danielle, who ducked, while Julie and Mark ran. Owen followed them, thinking that Danielle was with them. As Danielle looked up, she saw Azami running after her brother and her brother’s his friends. She turned to see Yukio charging at her. Danielle screamed and ran the other way. Owen had gotten in front of Julie and Mark, and turned to another hallway. He quickly stopped at the beginning of the hallway and waited. Mark ran by Owen.
“Julie! Duck now!” Owen called as Julie towards him. She ducked and Owen opened the locker into Azami’’s face, like Jeff had did to Chris. Azami fell over as Julie crashed into Owen. Owen fell over and Julie landed on top of him. Owen face turned bright red. Julie got up and Owen followed. The three kids ran down the hallway, towards the Cafeteria. They stopped to breath. Mark leaned against the wall, as Owen slid down the wall to the floor. Julie sat down next to him.
“That was really brave, what you did,” Julie said to him.
Owen blushed. “Thanks,” he said. Owen, Julie, and Mark sat there for a moment, before Julie turned back to Owen. Owen faced her, as she came closer. Then, Julie kissed Owen, on the lips. Owen turned red all over, and he thought Julie would laugh at him for it, but she just smiled. Owen looked at Mark, who just smiled at them, happily.
As they were passing another hallway, the three kids heard screaming from the other side. Danielle ran into Owen, and they fell over. They both got up. Owen looked at one end to see Azami coming, and at another to see Yukio coming. Above, he heard screaming from the vents, but could still hear all four of them.
The only other way was in the cafeteria. The four kids ran inside. They looked up at the vent. There was a door. Once the first person crawled over it, it snapped, and Jeff fell through the door, followed by Chris, Jordan and Mike. They door slammed open behind Owen, Mark, Danielle, and Julie as Azami and Yukio ran inside. They ran to the middle as Mike, Chris, Jordan, and Jeff ran from the vent. Kano jumped out after them. Falcons from both sides flew out of the vent after Kano and battled around the cafeteria.
Monnlit was fighting Bone, while Willow fought Flame. Azami sneaked up behind the birds and flipped over a table. Bone, Willow and Flame flew away, as Moonlit was crushed by the table. Underneath the table Moonlit was gasping for air, and slowly died.
Jordan dived under the table, dodging Kano’s knife. Owen climbed up a shelf in the corner of the room, and to the right of the door. Danielle and Julie ran into the room where they sold the food. Danielle jumped onto where they put the pizza. The heater was off, so she knew she wouldn’t be burnt. Julie jumped behind the door behind the cash register, to the ovens. Her hoodie accidentally caught the power switch and turned it on. Kano ran in after the two girls and saw Danielle jump up off the pizza area, and onto the glass next to it. Yukio threw a knife, as Danielle jumped off the glass and over the heater. She landed on the other side. Yukio jumped and landed on the other side as Danielle ran to Julie.
Kano climbed up to where Owen was, as Mike ran for the door. He was going to open it and let everyone out. Owen could only go down one way. He jumped off the shelf, and closed his eyes. A moment later, Owen landed in a garbage can, with wheels on the bottom. It began to move, and picked up speed. Suddenly, it was ripping through the cafeteria. Just as Mike was about to get out, Owen crashed into him, and sent him with the garbage can. They were heading for a glass shelf. Owen gasped as Mike jumped out of the way, grabbing Owen’s leg. Mike pulled Owen off just as they were about to crash. Bone was chasing Mark. Mark had to run out of the door. Bone chased him around the hallways, and through some rooms. Once Mark realized that he had lost the bird, he slowed down.
Willow and Flame had followed Mark and Bone, and finished their fight, because Willow was carrying Flame’s body. She dropped it in the water fountain. Suddenly, Bone zoomed out of the shadows, and crashed into Willow. She went into to the water fountain, and well to the ground. Willow stopped moving. Bone turned to long at Mark on the other side of the hall. Mark kept as quiet and still as he could with a hand behind his back. Bone charged at Mark, as the boy jumped out of the way with the hand behind his back, opening the locker behind him. Bone flew inside as Mark quickly closed the door. Suddenly, he heard a locker being hit from the inside. It was two lockers to the left. Mark was going to open it, but it was locked, and he didn’t know how to pick a lock. Instead, he looked through the side to see Jason.
“Jason!” Mark gasped. “What are you doing here?”
“I’m dying!” Jason yelled. He calmed down. “Now can you get me out?” Jason asked calmer.
Mark nodded. “No, I can’t pick the lock. You are stuck in there until I find Chris. I know he can pick a lock.”
“Ok. Where is he?” Jason asked.
“Back at the cafeteria, and that is where the killers are too,” Mark said.
“Oh, well I’d love to help but….”
“I know, I know. Look, if I get Chris and the others out of there, I’ll bring them here to get you out, ok?”
“Ok. Now go, quickly!” Jason called. Mark nodded and ran back towards the caferteria.
As Mark ran inside, he saw Julie and Danielle running out of the lunch line spot. Owen and Mike were running, but stopped, they seemed is if they had forgotten something. They turned back to a shattered glass shelf and gasped. Mark and Chris did the same. The computer chip, was still there! Kano ran over a picked it up.
“Yukio! Azami! I have it!” Kano called. Yukio cheered in joy as Azami sighed in relief.Yukio cheering suddenly turned to fear.
“But Gio is going to kill me if any of these kids escape,” he said.
Gio? Who is Gio? Chris asked in his head.
“We’re just going to have to kill them. All of them,” Azami replied. She took out her knife and was advancing on Julie.
“No!” Owen yelled as he stepped in front of his girlfriend. He picked up a knife on the ground, and pointed it at Azami. She laughed.
“Do you think you can really hurt me?” Azami couldn’t believe what she was seeing. “I’m a skilled professional at knifes and how to strike with them.” Once Owen realized that he had no chance, he threw the knife, grabbed Julie’s hand, and ran. Azami ducked, and threw hers. Danielle and Jordan ran to Owen and Julie a flipped over a table. The knives went right through the table, but didn’t reach the kids. Chris, Mark and Mike were hiding under the table. As Azami charged at Owen, Julie, Danielle and Jordan, Mark put his foot out, tripping Azami. Kano had lost all his knives again, and couldn’t kill the kids under the table. The three kids joined Owen, Julie, Danielle, and Jordan as they ran for the door. They ran right past Kano. He swung his fist at Mark, but he ducked and grabbed the computer chip from his other hand as they kids ran out the door. Kano gasped. They had lost the chip. He turned to see Yukio and Azami glaring at him, knowing of his failure.

Chapter Seven, Battle for the chip
“That was great Mark!” Owen cheered as Mark gave him the chip. “I’m glad almost all of us made it out,” Owen hung his head in thought of Jason. Then he looked up. “wait, Jason is dead because we sent him to trap the killers. This is our fault!” Chris and Mike hadn’t thought of that, and guilt suddenly poured out of them. Julie gave Owen a hug to make him feel better, but it wasn’t helping. Mark had completely forgotten about the boy trapped in the locker until now.
“Wait!” Mark yelled. “Jason is still alive!”
“Don’t try to make us feel better, because it isn’t helping,” Mike said coldly.
“No! He is alive! I talked to him a few minutes ago!” Owen looked up.
“Really? Where is he?” Owen asked.
“He is trapped in a locker. I couldn’t pick the lock, but I know that Chris can,” Mark said and Chris nodded. “This way!” Mark led them to the locker Jason was trapped in. They walked past the Main Office, where Owen could tell that the wire to the phone was cut. He growled angrily.
As they ran, Kano, Azami and Yukio were coming from the other direction. They met next to Jason’s locker. Kano charged at Mark and Owen he knew one of them must have had the chip. He chased them into the History class. Azami went after Danielle, Jordan and Julie. She chased them down the hall, while Chris, Mike and Jeff were left with Yukio. Chris tried to start unlocking the locker, but Mike and Jeff pulled him back. A knife flew in front of him.
How are we supposed to do this? Chris asked himself. Owen jump on the teacher’s desk as Kano threw a knife. Owen ducked. Kano threw another knife at Mark, who was hopping from desk to desk. Mark jumps and the knife went through his legs and hit a chair. The chair fell over. Kano took out a knife and was advancing on Owen. Owen jumped off the desk just as Kano swung. Owen grabbed onto the rolled up map on the wall, as Kano threw his knife at Owen, but the map unrolled. Owen would have hit the hard metal part of the whiteboard, but Kano knife went right through the map, and in the wall, stopping the map and Owen from going any further down. Owen hopped off the map and to the ground. Mark hopped off one of a student’s desks and landed next to Owen. They ran out the door, and Kano followed.
Mike began opening lockers, is if he was looking for something. Yukio jumped onto Chris, and Chris fell to the ground with Yukio on top of him. Yukio took out his knife, and swung it down at Chris. He felt it go through something and looked down and gasped. He saw his knife had went through a textbook, and not Chris. Mike found the textbook two lockers to the left of the locker Jason was in and threw it to Chris, who used it as protection. Suddenly, the Chris slammed the textbook into Yukio’s face. Yukio yelled in pain and fury as Chris got up and followed Mike to where Owen and Mark were. Yukio got up, but was then hit in the back of the head with a locker door by Jeff, how followed Mike and Chris. Kano helped Yukio up. Together they charged at the kids. Julie, Danielle and Jordan ran from Azami down the hallway. They met with the boys, a stood there in fear. Azami was coming from one end of the hallway, and on the other side of the hallway Kano and Yukio were coming. The kids were trapped. Owen took out the computer chip.
“Owen, what are you doing?” Danielle asked.
“This will get them away from us,” Owen said.
“But do you know how important that is?” Jordan asked. “They will literally kill to get it.”
“I know, but you guys want to live, right?”
“I say we do it,” Mike said. Chris nodded.
“Hurry up,” Jason whispered form the locker behind them. . “Throw it before they find my locker.”
“Are you sure about this Owen?” Julie asked.
Owen looked at her. “It will safe us,” he said as he threw the chip. It flew over Azami’s head. She quickly turned around and grabbed it. “Now that we aren’t trapped, get the chip from her.”
Azami picked up the chip, as the kids ran by. Mike ran over and punched her in the face, like he had done to Jeff. Azami gasped ad backed up into Chris, who took the chip from her hands and ran after his friends with Mike. Azami ran after them. Yukio and Kano followed.
They all ran into the Gym. Most of the kids ran up the bleachers, expect for Mike and Danielle. Yukio stayed down with Mike and Danielle, and Kano and Azami ran after the others. Yukio took out a knife a swung it at Danielle, who ducked. Kano chased Chris to the edn of the bleachers, because he knew Chris was holding the chip. Azami chased Jordan and Jeff. Jordan and Jeff were trapped at the end as Julie and Owen ran off the bleachers, and Danielle ran on. Jeff and Jordan climbed to the top of the railing, seeing Yukio at the bottom. He was waiting for them. Azami was about to through her knife when Jeff and Jordan looked at each other. They nodded and jumped. They tried to get to the other side, but couldn’t make it. Jeff used one hand to grab onto the railing on the other bleachers, and the other to grab Jordan’s hand before she fell. Azami growled and turned to see Danielle. She began chasing her and trapped her in the corner. Danielle knew she had no time to climb the railing. Right as Azami was about to throw her knife, Mark quietly stepped behind her, and pulled her pants down. Azami screamed in shock, allowing the two kids to get away. Yukio chased Mike. Chris’s only option was to jump, but there weren’t any bleachers on this side, and Yukio would surely catch him. He looked up to see a climbing rope tied to the ceiling. He jumped and his hands just grabbed onto it. He wrapped his legs around the rope, but accidentally spun around, so his back was facing the ground. He couldn’t see the knot that tied one end to the roof; he could only see the other end which had metal surrounding it. Suddenly, Chris heard a snap, and he fell with the rope, but still hung on to it. He began to swing on the rope, and Yukio was about to cut Mike’s head off. Mike had no time, and just as he was about to be killed, Chris flew into him. Kano had thrown a knife that tried to make Chris fall, but it made it harder for Yukio. The knife cut the rope, making Mike and Chris go under Yukio’s knife and towards the door. Yukio and Kano charged at them. Chris threw the chip to Mike, and ducked as Yukio leaped at him. Chris ran away, as Yukio went into the door. Kano charged at Mike. Mike threw the chip to Julie, and ran out the door, Chris followed. Yukio got up and charged at Julie. Kano followed him.
“I’m open!” Mark called, as if he was playing football. Julie turned and threw it to Mark, but Yukio and Kano were still charging at her. Mark caught it, and turned to run, but Azami was behind him.
“I guess you’re not over the pulling down your pants thing, huh?” Mark asked, his voice full of fear. Mark looked to the side to see the garbage can that was in the corner, gone. He wondered if Kano or Yukio had taken it.
“Toss it to me!” Jordan screamed. Mark threw the chip to her and she caught it. Azami was about to kill him, as the garbage can was slammed into her head. It covered Azami’s face, and she couldn’t see. Mark saw Owen behind her, and he smiled. Together, they pushed Azami off the bleachers, and she crashed into Yukio. Kano ran after Julie. As Mark ran out the door, Owen took the garbage can and threw it to Julie. She caught it and put it in front of her, and Kano’s knife her threw it, but didn’t hit Julie. She threw the garbage can at Kano and ran out the door.
Yukio got up and ran after Jordan. Danielle picked up the rope that Chris was swinging on. Jordan threw the chip to Jeff. Danielle wacked Yukio with the rope. Yukio charged at her as Jordan ran out the door.
Kano and Azami ran at Jeff. Kano followed Jeff to the top of the bleachers, and swung his knife at him, but it missed because Jeff slid down the railing. Azami was waiting at the bottom. She was about to kill him, but Owen grabbed his hand and pulled Jeff off the railing. Azami threw her knife, but I missed. The knife went towards Kano, but he dodged it. Jeff and Owen spilt up. Owen stayed on the bleachers, while Jeff threw the chip to Danielle and ran out the door. She caught it, and ran from Yukio. Kano followed Owen, as Azami went down to help Yukio. Yukio threw his fist at Danielle, but she ducked and ran away from him. Yukio growled angrily. She ran towards the door, and Azami followed her. She threw her knife at Danielle, but Danielle turned to the right and the knife went through the glass on the door. The glass shattered, and just missed Chris. All the kids waited by the door, hoping their friends would make it out alive. Danielle got trapped in the corner.
“Here! Throw it!” Owen called, as he got farther away from Kano. Danielle threw the chip to him, but Owen didn’t catch it. Danielle was trapped, and Owen couldn’t help her unless he got the chip. Kano raced Owen down to where it was. It was on one of the steps of the bleachers, but really close to the ground. Owen was about to grab it, but Kano had his knife right at the arm Owen was using. Owen tripped, and grabbed it, as Kano swung his knife down. Kano knife missed as Owen hit the ground with the chip. He groaned for a second, as Kano caught up to him. Owen threw the chip, and it hit Azami in the head. She turned to see it and a smile lit up her face, but as she was about to grab it, Danielle punched her in the back of the head and ran out the door.
Azami gasped and went into the wall. Owen grabbed the chip, and tried to make a break for the door, but Yukio caught him. Yukio charged at Owen, with a knife pointed towards him. Owen dodged to the right, and put his foot out to trip him. Yukio fell to the ground, but he put the knife to the right so he wouldn’t fall on it. Owen ran out the door. As Owen ran out the door, he was greeted by a hug from Julie. They all ran towards the main office.

Chapter Eight, the Surprise
Guilt and frustration surged through Yukio. They can’t get those kids. What are we going to do? Yukio thought. If we come back with the chip, but a single kid gets away, Gio will kill me! Kano and Azami could tell he was scared, so Azami sat down next to him.
“Look, you did your best, we will catch them. Don’t worry,” Azami told him. Yukio turned to look at her, and she gave him a look he didn’t understand. A second later, she kissed him on the lips. Kano gasped inside his head. Yukio looked shocked, but seemed as if he enjoyed it.
Azami looked distracted back when we were planning everything. She must have been thinking about Yukio, Kano decided. All three of them walked out the door together, and Yukio didn’t seem as scared as he was before.
“Guys, what are you doing?” Owen asked.
“There is a phone in the Main Office,” Mark said.
“But the wire is cut,” Owen argued.
“It is?” Chris went inside and saw the wire perfectly cut by a knife. He growled angrily. “Come on, we have to find a cell phone.
“Maybe one of the lockers has a cell phone,” Mike suggested.
“That could be true. Let’s split up, so we can cover more lockers faster and meet right here at the main office once you are done checking your hallway. I don’t want anybody to be alone, so I’m putting u guys into pairs. The pars are, Danielle and Jordan, Mike and Chris, Mark and Jeff, and Julie and me.” Owen made the plans. He told each group what hallway they needed to cover.
The kids had been looking for lockers for a while, they had seen the killers once in a while, but escaped from them really fast. Azami was watching Mark and Jeff. Suddenly, a knife flew right between them. Mark gasped, as Azami charged at them. They accidentally split up, and Azami chased Jeff. Mark was running, when he saw someone farther down the hallway.
“Who are you?” Mark asked. The person didn’t answer, but threw a something at him. Mark ducked, as a knife went over his head. Yukio charged at him. Mike and Chris were on the hallway that Jason was trapped in.
“I’ll take over there,” Mike said as he headed over to another part of the hallway. Chris was in front of the bathroom, and he heard screaming from the end opposite of Mike. He saw Jeff being chased by Azami. Chris ran into the bathroom and hid in a stall. Jeff ran in after him and backed up to the end of the bathroom. Azami walked in. She looked angry and furious. Azami took out her knife. She swung at Jeff, but the stall door slammed. Her knife was went through it, but didn’t reach Jeff. He looked to the right to see Chris inside, and he smiled. It was easy to tell that there wouldn’t be any more bullying. Chris slammed the door and Azami into the stall’s wall; he and Jeff ran out the door. Mike found them. He looked at Jeff, and it was easy to tell he was surprised.
“What happened?” Mike asked.
“He saved my life,” Jeff responded. Chris smiled. Mark ran to them.
“Yukio is coming!” he screamed. Yukio charged at them, while Azami ran out of the boy’s bathroom. The four kids ran from the two killers. They hadn’t gotten a chance to free Jason. They ran to the hallway Danielle and Jordan were in. Owen and Julie were still looking through the lockers. Owen opened a locker and gasped.
“Julie! I found a phone!” Owen cheered.
“Yeah!” Julie cheered with him and gave him a hug. Owen opened the phone and turned it on. He looked at the banner on top. It said this was Jane Laker’s phone. Jane was the lucky one, because she was the only one in this group of friends that didn’t get stuck here.
He began to dial 911, when something hit the phone right out of his hands. A knife went through the phone and into the wall. Kano charged at them out of the shadows. Julie screamed and ran with Owen. They heard screaming from where they were running to, and stopped. Out of the shadows, came Jeff, Jordan, Chris, Mike, and Danielle. Owen saw Yukio and Azami farther back. Behind them, Kano was closing in. They went right, to another hallway. A knife went between Danielle and Jordan and split them up. Danielle ran down another hallway, while Jordan stayed with the group.
The kids ran into the Main Office. They hid behind a desk, as the killers came in. They didn’t know what to protect themselves with. Then they looked at the lost and found box. It was stocked with clothes and even some video games. Owen thought that that box might weight more than all the kids that are trapped here. Each kid took a massive pile of items, and began to throw it. Most items were dodged, but some hit then. Mark hit Yukio it the head with a Nintendo DS.
Suddenly, the killers would catch some of the items and throw them back. It was like a war until Azami took out her last three knives. Yukio was out of knives, because he checked each pocket, but didn’t have any. Kano had one left. He threw it at Jordan, but she unplugged the Main Office’s phone and put it in front of her head. The knife went through it, but didn’t reach her. Owen threw someone’s dirty underwear at Kano, while Azami threw a knife at Jeff, Mike and Chris. Jeff ducked, and it missed. Mike took the phone from Jordan and used it to protect himself. Chris threw a pencil case at the knife, making it turn to Julie, but it hit the desk in front of her, and Julie was safe.
While Jordan, Julie, and Chris kept throwing items from the lost and found, Owen, Mark, Mike and Jeff had an idea. If they collected all the knives that the killers didn’t get back, the killers would have weapons, and they would. They picked up every knife in the Main Office, and told the others about their plan. Jordan nodded, while Chris looked scared. Julie didn’t want Owen to leave, but knew that this was a smart plan. The four boys left.
Danielle looked down the hallway, to see birds fighting once again. This must have been where they were the whole time. She saw Retro standing in front of the dead body of Eyes. She also saw Mist standing in front of Storm’s dead body. Danielle walked in the band room. She looked around the destroyed place to see her violin smashed in half. Danielle opened the closet where Tiger and Claw were, and gasped. Tiger and Claw must have had a battle, because Tiger looked injured and Claw was dead. Danielle closed the closet and walked outside. She looked up to see Retro battling Fire and Silent battling Ice. Retro and Fire’s battle wasn’t really going anywhere, but Ice was winning against Silent. Ice was about to crash Silent into the water fountain, but Cinder crashed into Ice. Behind Retro and Fire’s battle, was saw the end of Steel and Starry’s battle. Starry was dead on the ground and Steel was attacking Blood. Blood dodged him and flew towards Danielle. Danielle gasped. Blood charged at her, but she ducked and he went over her. Danielle ran from the birds and down the hallway, towards the main office. Blood charged down at Daniele again, but she didn’t see him coming. Just as Blood would have hit her, Steel crashed into Blood from the side, and they both went to the wall. Danielle ran to the office.
Owen, Mark, Mike, and Jeff had collected all the knives. They began to return to the Main Office, when they saw someone charge at them. At first they thought it was Danielle, but once they realized it was Kano, they ran. If Kano trapped them, got all these knives back, he would surely kill them. The boys ran down the hallway. Owen was holding all the knives in a plastic Shop Rite bag. Someone ran into Owen right in front of the Main Office. Danielle and Owen hit the ground. All five of them knew they wouldn’t have time to pick them up, because Kano almost reached them, so they ran inside. Kano collected with knives. Just as Mike got inside, he was whipped with a belt. Mike fell to the ground, and Yukio did the same to Chris. Mark picked up the broken phone and slammed into Yukio’s head, making him fall over. Chris and Mike ran out the door. Owen grabbed Julie and ran out the door, followed by Mark, and Jordan. Kano threw a knife at Danielle but she ducked and it shattered the glass. Some of the glass fell on her, and made a small cut in her arm. Pain surged through Danielle’s arm, as she ran out the door.

Chapter Nine, a New Weapon
After the kids were sure that they lost those three killers, they stopped to take a moment to calm down. Chris and Mike went down back to the Main Office, but the killers weren’t there. Instead of going inside, the two boys turned to a hallway on the left and went down into the last room. Later, they returned with some supplies to help Danielle and her wound. Owen and Julie put it on. Mark sat down to relax while Jeff was talking to Jordan. To Owen, it seemed like he was hitting on her. Danielle and Julie noticed too. Then, they all agreed to split up and search for an exit.
Azami pulled out the keys that she got from Mandy, and open the door that they locked. She ran outside, while Yukio and Kano blocked the door. She came back in with a weapon that even scared Yukio. It was a chainsaw. The three agreed to split up and track down the kids. Kano ran down the hallways, while Azami checked the classrooms. Yukio just walked where ever he wanted until he would found Mark and Mike. Kano charged at them.
“Run!” Mark said.
“To where?” Mike asked.
“Anywhere!” Mark and Mike ran down the hallways, while Azami looked into the Math room. There she saw Jeff and Chris trying to break a window.
There is no way I’m letting them escape, Azami thought. She turned on her chainsaw. The sound of it scared Chris so badly that he almost fainted, but Jeff grabbed his shoulders and shook him.
“How do we get out?” Chris asked.
“We need to pass Azami and get to the door,” Jeff said.
“But she has a chainsaw!” Chris saw Azami slowly stepping towards them. “Ok, fine! Let’s do this!”
Owen and Julie were looking for open doors, when they found Danielle and Jordan again. They were on the end of the fourth floor of the tallest part of this school. Julie looked up.
“Look!” she called pointing straight up. The other three looked up to see a small door.
“It must lead to the roof,” Owen decided.
“I think we would have a better chance of getting the attention of somebody on the road, and those three killers wouldn’t even know that we were up there,” Danielle said.
“C’mon, we need to find the others,” Jordan said, and began to run to the stair room. The other three followed. Jordan opened the door and ran down the stairs fast, as if she expected something to attack her inside this room. Owen looked around to see bodies of dead birds all over the ground. Blood was everywhere, and Owen thought he was going to throw up. Jordan ran out the door, followed by Danielle and Julie, but the door slammed shut, because Kano had been hiding here the whole time. The door on the fourth floor hadn’t even closed, and to birds came inside. Melanor and Void began to crash into each other. Void then attacked Owen, but Owen ducked and Void’s attack missed. Fear shot out of Owen. Kano chased him with a knife in his hand, but when Kano caught up to him, Owen sat on the railing a slid down, ducking under Kano’s knife. He went down to the first floor, while Kano was on the second floor. He threw a knife at Melanor.
“Duck!” Owen called. Melanor must have heard him because he ducked and the knife just missed his feathers. Instead, the knife went into Void, who fell to the ground, dead. Owen opened the door, letting Melanor out then he ran out and quickly closed the door. He saw the three girls looking for him.
“There you are!” Danielle called as she saw him. Julie ran up to him. They hugged each other.
“Are you ok?” she asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine, but Kano is coming!” Owen showed them the door to the stair room. As was slammed opened and Kano ran out. Jordan screamed, and ran with the other kids. AS the four kids ran down the hallway, Danielle saw something out of the corner of her eye. Blood charged at her, but Melanor crashed into him from side, and sent them both into the wall.
“C’mon!” Owen called to Melanor as the four kids passed the fighting birds, but Melanor stayed in the fight. Kano chased the kids around the hallways and towards the hallway that Mark and Mike were in.
“Look!” Mark called and pointed to a switch on the wall.
“What about it?” Mike asked, with fear in his voice.
“This is the light switch for the whole school. Yukio wouldn’t be able to see us if the light was off, and all the lights turning off at the same time might make people outside wonder what is going on,” Mark said. Yukio came up behind Mike.
“Duck!” Mark called as he turned off the lights. Yukio sent his knife down, knowing Mike would duck, but Mike dived to the right instead. Yukio couldn’t see anything.
Now how am I supposed to find them, Yukio asked himself. He saw a large movement by the light switch, and threw a knife, but Mark was just leaving, and the knife hit the light switch, making sure the power would come back on. Yukio looked around but couldn’t see anything.
“Guys!” Mike called as he saw Jordan, Danielle, Julie and Owen. Yukio heard him and rushed that way.
“Kano is coming!” Danielle screamed.
“Yukio is coming too,” Mark said as he heard rapid footsteps from where the light switch is. They turned to the hallway to the right of them, and ran, towards Math class.
Chris fell over, to land on a desk, when Azami’s chainsaw came down on him. He quickly rolled to the right, and the chainsaw went right threw the desk. Jeff jump on her, from her back, but Azami threw Jeff off her back an into Chris. They both went into the wall. They were trapped.
“I’m sick of you boys,” Azami said. “You need to have a punishment, and I know just the one.” She aimed her chainsaw at them. Jeff and Chris’s eyes widened, but just as Azami was about to strike, the lights went off. Azami blinked, confused, but Jeff and Chris saw this as a way to escape. They slowly crawled towards the door, quickly opened it, ran out, and slammed it shut. Azami heard them and threw her chainsaw at the door. It crashed through the window of the door, shattering glass that almost hit Jeff and Chris. She ran towards the door, but Jeff and Chris were already gone.
Danielle, Jordan, Julie, Owen, Mike and Mark stopped at the end of the hallway. They could have turned right, but they saw Jeff and Chris running from that direction.
“Azami is coming!” Chris called to them.
“Yukio and Kano are coming from the other way,” Mike reported.
“We’re trapped!” Jeff wailed. Julie looked up.
“No we’re not!” Julie said. “There is the door to the roof.”
“Are you crazy?!” Jeff yelled. “They will just shove us off the roof!”
Owen heard running from both hallways. “It’s are only option Jeff.”
Jeff looked mad, but it was easy to tell this was the scariest night of his life. “Fine,” he replied. Danielle opened the door and the kids began to climb……

Chapter Ten, Death
The kids climbed up to the roof. Chris was glad to get some fresh air, but Mike was glad that he could see the street and could possibly get somebody’s attention. A moment later, Azami, Yukio, and Kano climbed up. Yukio and Azami charged at them, as Owen grabbed Julie’s and Danielle’s hands and made a run for it, but were caught by Kano. He swung his knife down at the kids, and Owen had to let go of Julie and Danielle to escape it. Julie and Danielle were separated from Owen and met with Jordan. Azami ran at the girls while Yukio chased Jeff, Chris and Mike. Yukio grabbed Chris by the back of his shirt.
“Help!” Chris called. Jeff tried to rip Chris out of Yuki’s grasp, while Mike quietly stepped behind him. Azami swung her chainsaw at Julie and Jordan, but Julie ducked at ran to the side. By the edge of the roof, Jordan tripped, and fell to the ground. Azami stood over her, a lifted her chainsaw. She swung, but Jordan ducked, and Julie crashed into her, making her stumble forward, towards Danielle, who put out her foot and tripped her, sending her off the roof, but Kano saw Azami right before she fell.
“Azami! Catch!” Kano said as he threw a rope. Azami grabbed it, but let go of her chainsaw. It smashed into pieces on the ground. Hanging on to one end, Kano tried to pull her up, but Owen jumped on his back, and wouldn’t let go. Kano could still hold the rope, but couldn’t pull her up. Once he was able to throw Owen off of him, he charged at the girls, with a rope. He only had one knife, and a special surprise, so he knew he shouldn’t waste it. He tackled the girls, and tied them together with the rope, but left plenty of rope hanging from the knot in case he needed to tie more kids up.
“Hey!” Yukio yelled as Mike pulled his pants down. Yukio turned around and pushed Mike in the face, but it allowed Jeff to grab Yukio’s arm and pull him towards Chris. Chris grabbed Yukio’s shirt as Yukio did to him, and pulled towards the edge of the roof, but dodged to the right. Yukio grabbed Cinder’s leg as he went down towards Azami, and tried to grab onto the rope, but accidentally, grabbed Azami, and they both fell, but Azami landed in a tree. Yukio missed the tree……
“Yukio!” Azami cried as she saw his dead body. Cinder’s dead body was next to his. She began to sob. Kano saw what had happened and became furious. Yukio was his brother, and now he is dead. Kano tackled the three boys that killed him, and tied them up with the girls.
“Let us go!” Mike yelled.
“Never!” At that moment, Owen jumped on his back again. Kano growled and threw his arms back trying to knock Owen off, but it did nothing. Owen growled, and then wrapped his arms around Kano’s neck. He coughed, trying to breathe. Then, Kano took out his last knife. Owen knew he couldn’t let go or his friends would be gone forever. Pain hit Owen, as the knife met his arm, but Owen kept on. He could feel the blood oozing out of his arm, and dropping to the ground. Then his whole arm became numb. Owen began whacking Kano with the numb arm, and grabbing his neck with the other, and Kano dropped his knife. The branch that Azami was sitting on began to crack, and a moment later it snapped, but she kept holding the rope. The rope was slowly pulling the kids off the roof, as Azami was slowly being lowered to the ground. It wouldn’t be long until they fell…
“How dare you!” Kano screamed as he tried to throw Owen off again, but accidentally got closer to the edge of the roof. Kano knew Owen wasn’t coming off, so he took out his big surprise. It was a grenade! Kano ripped off the tip or some part of it, and Owen heard it tick. Time felt like slow motion to Owen, like he could die at any moment, which he could. Owen felt his heart beat faster, until one moment when he thought it would stop. He felt the chip in his pocket do something weird or pop something out, but Owen barely noticed. His friends were almost off the roof. Owen pulled Kano back towards the edge of the roof. Kano pulled his arm back to throw the grenade.
Blood, Fire, and Ice began to flee, but Silent crashed into Ice and they both went off the roof, and only Silent returned after.
As Kano threw the grenade, Owen used his numb arm to whack the hand, and Kano tossed it closer than he wanted. The grenade exploded, and began to rip the roof apart. The explosion made Kano dive back, off the roof, but Owen grabbed on the edge, while Kano began to fall. The other kids felt the ground under them vanish, as they fell, but Danielle grabbed onto the end near Owen. Pieces of the roof fell, and one crashed right in front of the locker Jason was in. It ripped part of the door, and the lock off, and Jason kicked it open. All the kids but Owen heard some sort of tearing, and the rope snapped. Danielle grabbed Jordan’s hand, who grabbed the rope. All the other kids grabbed onto the rope and slid down, but stopped at a knot. Julie was on the bottom. Suddenly, the gutters that Danielle and Owen were holding snapped on one side, as Kano fell into the tree, and a cage fell out. It was the cage that had Breezy and Tainter in it, and they were still alive. Danielle slid off but Owen grabbed her hand and held to the edge of the gutter. The dged of the gutter then was disconnected to the roof, and the kids fell, to land in the tree, but Owen missed. He grabbed the rope, and Danielle held the other end and he swung himself over the ground, to land next to the tree, facing the road.
Jason opened the locker next to him and Emerald flew out. There, he saw books and binders of a girl. That girl had left her cell phone there too. Jason grabbed it and called 911. “Hello!” Jason cried.
“You have reached the police department what is your emergency?” he heard a lady on the other end ask. “I’m at Heritage Middle School, and there are three killers that might have hurt my friends!” Jason said.
“We will be there right away, and I will stay with you until they get there.”
“Thank you.”
The branch Kano was on snapped and he grabbed Azami’s leg. They both fell to the ground, where Kano saw something very good. The computer chip was on the ground in front of him.
“Look!” he said to Azami. He picked up the chip, while Azami picked up Yukio’s dead body. They ran away. Owen looked up to see a policeman get out of his car with a gun and run to the kid.
“I’m Officer Timmy.” The man said, showing his badge. “Are you ok?”
“No, my arm is numb,” Owen said. “Danielle cut her arm on broken glass, and the others probably have broken something or hurt something since they landed in the tree.”
“Don’t worry, Officer Jimmy, Officer Matt and Officer Drew are getting them out,” Timmy said. Owen looked over to see police officers getting the other kids out of the tree. An ambulance parked by the police car, and doctors rushed out. Drew lowered Mike to the ground. Owen saw Jimmy stop helping kids down, and followed Steel into the school. Owen’s dad Joe parked near the police car and ran to Owen.
“Owen! Are you ok?” Joe asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” Owen said. Joe nodded, and went over to the tree to see how Danielle was.
“Ouch! That really hurts!” Mike yelled and Drew placed him on the ground. Drew looked at his legs.
“Which one hurts?”
“The left one,” Mike said, with pain in every word.
“I think your leg is broken,” Drew said. Doctors came with a stretcher. Mike leaned down to fall on it and passed his friends as he went into the ambulance.
Yes! I want to get away from this school as soon as possible, Mike thought.
He saw Jeff come in on a stretcher. “You have a broken leg too?” Mike asked.
“Yeah, I can’t feel it, or even move it, and it really hurts.”
“That sound like mine,” Mike smiled. Maybe being friends with Jeff won’t be so bad.
Chris, Jordan, Mark and Julie were walking into the ambulance. They didn’t seem to have any broken bones, but looked really bruised and hurt. As the doctors finished put the band aid on Owen arm, he walked over to Julie.
“We both made it,” she cried, happily.
“Everyone made it,” Owen said. Danielle walked inside, and Joe followed her.
“Gotcha!” Owen heard Matt yell as the police officer caught a bird in a cage. It was Blood. He looked up to see Fire fleeing. Then Owen saw Danielle walk into the ambulance with a band aid on her arm. Julie walked inside. Owen turned to see Jimmy coming out of the school with four other people. One was Jason. Jason waved, but brought his arm down fast, as if it was really hurt.
Finally! Now I know how my dog feels when I keep him in his cage, Jason thought.
The other three people looked like the school janitors. “What happened to you guys?” Owen asked.
“Three adults came inside, and knocked us out. We woke up locked in the basement,” Bob said. Owen could see Andy and Mandy in a side conversation. He listened to them.
“I’m glad we both made it out of there,” Andy said.
“Me too,” Mandy smiled. They just looked at each other for a while, as if they didn’t know what to say. Then, Owen saw Andy kiss Mandy on the lips. Owen remembered that none of the janitors were married, and Bob didn’t want a relationship. The three janitors went into the ambulance. Right before Jason went inside the ambulance, the bird Emerald rushed out and landed on his arm. Melanor did the same to Owen. Jason smiled it the bird and went inside.
“Who is that?” Owen asked as he saw a shadow in the police car.
“That’s Gio,” Drew said. “We caught him a few hours ago, with the plans, for the computer chip. Apparently, it had info to take over the White House.” Owen gasped.
“And they have it,” Owen shivered.
“Yep, so we will have to keep looking for them. They couldn’t have gotten far, but they know the perfects ways to hide themselves,” Drew said. Owen nodded, and turned to the ambulance.
My turn, Owen thought as Drew helped him up and into the ambulance. He turned to see all his friends there, being worked on. The ambulance doors closed, and Owen sat next to Danielle.
“I’m glad we’re both ok,” Danielle said to him.
“Me too,” Owen said. They hugged each other, as doctors came and began to work on there arms.
It has been a month since that night that the kids almost got killed. They became the most popular kids in school. Most of the school is being fixed, including Owen’s IRLA class, meaning he didn’t have to deal with Mrs. Kada for a while. Jeff has left his followers since he heard what they were saying. Richard said he would have something to protect him at all times and isn’t as poor as us. Jonathon said that he could of outran them any possibly plowed through the door. Cody said that he were so stupid and would have been easy for him to get out of the school. Jake said he didn’t care and all he was thinking about was video games. It is kind of obvious why Jeff left them. Also, Jeff and Jordan are starting to get really close, and will probably become boyfriend and girlfriend before the end of the school year. All the eighth grade boys are trying to go out with Danielle now, because she is the only single female that was there that night. Chris and Mike are having the time of their life. For once, they are actually popular, and Mark is after another girl that he won’t tell his friends about. He seems really happy, so Owen doesn’t care. Julie and Owen are still dating, and everybody in school knows they probably will stayed together for the whole school year, or maybe never break up. Melanor is now Owen’s pet, and Emerald is now Jason’s. All the other living birds are pets of all the kids that were trapped in the school that night. Joey and Angel still talk to Owen, but Owen has learned to deal with it. He also learned that the two boys are really nice, because they invited him and his friends to a huge party, which Owen is definitely going to. Austin, Heather, Justin, Gabby, and Andrew had also became friends with Owen and his friends, and Owen now loves his new school, but there is one detail that Owen forgot, and it could put his life in danger once again………
