Coldstone emerged from his den. He noticed Redfur at the Fresh-kill pile, place freshly kill prey. 'I can't hold the secret forever,' Coldstone said. He heard footsteps behind him.

Adderstrike was walking around and looking for his sister. "hey coldstone have you seen my sister demonfang around?" he said

Goldenpaw tugged a huge load of moss into the elder's den. "Oh! Sorry." She woofed, flattening her ears as if waiting to be rebuked. " I didn't want to barge in on anyone."

Adderstrike spotted his sister with redfur 'So that must be her mate then' he said to himself. "Demonfang" he said "oh no" Demonfang said "hey i was looking for you!" Adderstrike said "Hey im not a little pup anymore so you could just go find yourself a mate and get a life!" Demonfang said and then walked away. adderstrike just stood there

Coldstone watched them go. What if Demonfang learns about the secret. Would she still want to be his mate. He looked back about Adderstrike and Goldenpaw. "Are you ok?" he asked.

"yeah im okay just sad" adderstrike said and then went into the warriors den with his tail down. Demonfang came back and went to Redfur and licked his muzzle.

Redfur watched Adderstrike leave. "Wow, he looks sad," Redfur said. Then he turned to Coldstone. He noticed Coldstone was looking at him in an odd way. He looked nervice, giulty, and confused."Are you ok?" Redfur asked.

"No, nothing at all," Coldstone answered quickly, and quickly padded into his den. "Something is going on," Redfur said. "Definitly," a voice called from the freh kill pile Brightwing padded over to them. "I think he is keeping a secret."

(TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING)
Redfur padded into the Elder's Den. "Hey dad, I wanted to talk to you about what happened yesterday.
Coldstone acted as if he didn't know what Redfur was talking about. "What do you mean?"
(this would be the part where Demonfang comes)
