"I will fight by real warriors, and watch you all die!" he snapped. Arawn grabbed Rose's chest and flung her to the ground. Without a second glance, he raced after Venomfang's group. He heard the snarls and growls behind him, but he Thundered on.

Moonrun and Phoenixfeather bounded after Venomfang, Moonpaw, and Cocoamane. The plan had gone horribly wrong. Sunspark watched in anguish as Arawn disappear into the night. Callisto remained still as she had been; completely unharmed. Pendergast slipped through the bristling wolves to get to Blackrose, make sure she was okay. Recif looked at his wolves. "If anyone else feels the objective to leave, then do so. Sun's Death has no room for traitors.
Echohowl's eyes widened in terror. "What happened?", she demanded, setting Whiterain's limp body on a soft patch of moss.

Ashpaw was gasping for air. "We went to talk to Recif about his pack killing Thornshadow and she jumped and he kicked her in the stomach! Her pup is dying!" he barked.
Arawn continued to thunder through the forest, tears streaming down his eyes. "Goodbye, Calli. Sunspark, we shall meet again," he whispered. Venomfang and his group were in his sight. "Wait! Venomfang, Phoenixfeather! Wait up!" he howled.
Venomfang stopped and turned around to see Arawn thundering towards them, a river of tears running down his cheek. "I don't want to hurt you," Arawn woofed.

Echohowl nodded vigerously. She got to work immediately, her paws picking the precise herbs she needed. Whiterain twitched, and resurfaced from unconsciencousness. "Bearclaw...", she whispered, then retched and coughed up more blood.
Phoenixfeather whirled around. "Is that a fact?", she growled.

Ashpaw began to quiver.
Arawn nodded. "They kicked me out. I said that Shadowpack has stronger warriors then those bunch of overgrown cats. I told Recif that he was a poor and selfish leader, and he banished me," he woofed truthfully. Arawn bowed his head and laid on the ground in front of Venomfang. "I wish to join you and take down Recif and his evil plans. I am under the command of Shadowpack."
Venomfang snarled,"I doubt it!" He lunged for Arawn, then stopped when a voice shouted.
"Stop! He is telling the truth," Moonpaw rasped.

Moonrun watched silently as Phoenixfeather went to stand by Moonpaw. "The decision is Whiterain's. Speaking of which, where is she?", Phoenixfeather asked, fear in her voice.

"Ashpaw took her ba...." Venomfang trailed as he saw a blood trail. "Oh no," he gasped. Cocoamane turned to the rest of the group. "Follow the trail!" she howled and began to follow it. Venomfang turned to Arawn. "Come."
Arawn nodded and got to his paws. He scooped up Moonpaw and held her gingerly in his fangs. The pack thundered on following the trail that led to camp. "In there!" Cocoamane growled as she pointed towards the medicine den.

Moonrun panted as she bounded after Cocoamane. Phoenixfeather hung back with Venomfang. She wanted to talk to him after the chaos subsided. When they arrived at camp. "Who should check? I'm pretty sure Echohowl wouldn't appreciate all of crowding her den.", Moonrun asked.

"I will," Moonpaw rasped from Arawn's fangs. "Moonpaw? Are you sure?" Cocoamane asked. Moonpaw nodded andlooked at the rest ofthe group. Arawn nodded and placed her on her paws. "Should she?" Venomfang asked Moonrun.

Moonrun turned to Venomfang. "It would quell our desperate curiosity. Besides, only Ashpaw knew of her condition, and he left the fight with her. We know nothing.", she answered, her voice cracking with sorrow. Whiterain had been one of the first wolves to accept her into Shadowpack after her flight from the Bloodbringers. She was her closest friend.

"Aye," he sighed and dipped his head. "Moonpaw, go in. We will be out here with Arawn," he woofed. Moonpaw nodded and limped into the medicine den. "Ashpaw, Whiterain, Echohowl? Is she oka..." she saw Whiterain's limp body and Ashpaw and Echohowl working over her. "What happened?" she rasped.
