Oats loved the corn fields, the only problem was the scratchy plants cut his paws, or if it was stil lgreen and leafy, you might get lost. but he knew his way around pretty well, chasing little mousies, wolfing down about six

Thistleclaw was also in the same field and was also eating some mice. He scneted oats and prowled around looking for him. He thought dumb wolf crossing my path.

Oats stiffened, he knew that scent, Thistleclaw, a nasty wolf he had crossed paths with once and barely gotten away. he grabbed his prey and left the way he had come, hopefully unnoticed

Thistleclaw had been close enough and heard Oats pawsteps running away. He chased after him and jumped biting his shoulder."I told you this was my field! You know what i do to wolves who intrude in my fields. I kill them!"He growled.

A dark shape was moving swiftly through the cornfield, heading straight towards the two. She flew past Oats and knocked Thistleclaw at full speed off of Oats, shreding one of his ears as she went by. Before either of the wolves could attack her, she was already far away from them.

Oats blinked. he didnt know who or how, but he wasnt dead! he ran away from Thistleclaw as fast as he could

Thistleclaw growled. He saw the grey wolf running away from him. He knew he would kill that wolf once he got the chance. If he ever emt her again.
