Bloodspill took Deathtide, Moonrun, Heartless, and Nightkill on a hunting party. She left Gorgefall, Moonrun, and Swiftstep in charge of guarding Echopaw while they were away. "My Packmates will rescue me!", Echopaw growled. "Shutup!", Swiftstep snarled irritabley. Moonrun glared at the apprentice, but held her tongue, laying her head on her paws, keeping her ears perked.

Gorgefall licked her lips "I helped murder quite a few ShadowPack wolves, Ripplewave, Icecatcher, Shadowstripe... tasted pretty good." she grinned at Echopaw

Echopaw's eyes widened in fear. "Yeah, and one of these days you'll....", she growled, but stopped, not knowing what to say.

Echopaw's eyes flickered from Gorgefall to Bonefang and Bloodytooth, then back to Gorgefall. "One of these days you'll pay.", she growled.

Bonefang laughed. "And how do you pip squeak plan on that?" bloodlytooth answered. "Probably she will get her killer pack I am so scared."

Swiftstep laughed coldly. "Yes, we're SOOOO afraid!", she said in mock terror. She walked up to Echopaw, knocking her over with one paw swipe and stood over her. "We fear nothing, not even your precious leader. He may have nine lives, but not even those can save him from death.", the tawny she-wolf growled. Echopaw looked up into Swiftstep's eyes, then looked away.

Swiftstep nodded. Just then, Bloodspill arrived with the day's catch. She dropped the fairly large stag to the ground and Deathtide and the others dropped their prey as well. "How was the little whelpling? Any trouble?", the red she-wolf asked, grinning at Echopaw.

"That will be fixed soon unless Shadowpack's mindless leader can make a decision.", Bloodspill growled, settling down to munch on the stag. "Oh and by the way, dinner is served. Give the meddy a small ration, any of you.", she added. Deathtide nodded and tore a small piece of her hare and gave it to Echopaw. The young she-wolf stared at it, then slowly began to eat.

"Hmm i think those ShadowPAck wolves prefer carrion over freshkill" smirked Gorgefall and with a snarl she leaped forward, took Echopaw's food, and instead tossed her a dead rat she had found earlier

Echopaw sighed and turned away, curling up to sleep. Bloodspill finished her part of the stag and got to her paws. "Now that we've delt with Shadowpack for the moment, it's Windpack's turn." (this is before they do the raid)
