Rosestar padded into the leaders den.......my den now she thought....... and began making a nest. she had just recieved her name and nine lives, and she felt like a weight had been put on her shoulders. even though she would never admit it, she was feeling a little insecure. what if im not cut out to be leader? she thought miserably

Diamondpup half bounced half limped into Rosestar's den "Hi! Roset- Rosestar! Yeah! Hi! Can i decorate your den for you?"

Songheart followed Diamondpup into the leader's den. "Hello Rosestar!" She was glad that she had more time to practice being deputy before she was leader. She wasn't ready to lead Riverpack yet. She was content helping Rosestar. "Do you need me to o anything for you?"

Songheart smiled uneasily. "I can mentor Clearpup, if you want. But I don't know about Diamondpup..." she didn't say that she knew Diamondpup would never be a warrior.
