Rosestar watched them with a smile. she felt excited for the new apprentices. she jumped down and turned to her den.
"Not bad for your first ceremony. you seem to be getting the hang of this." a voice behind her commented. she turned to see Lionroar's ice blue eyes studying hers.
"Thanks." she replied, distracted for a moment by his eyes. He nodded and stood up. "well, keep up the good work." he called over his shoulder as he walked away.
Rosestar nodded and turned back to her den, only now realizing that her heart was pounding.
