Icefeather slowly went to her stores then took out 5 herbs. Marrigold, cobwebs, dried oak leaves, honey comb, and garlic. "Can you name any one of these herbs?" she ask kindly.

Diamondpaw blinked thoughtfully "Hmm the first is a flower i know. we um, use it for preventing infection, i remember... um, i forget the name...
the second I know is cobweb!" she giggled
she blinked at the leaf "I am sorry, all i know is that that is a leaf! the next two, however, i know are delicious honey and smelly garlic!"

"good enough. Marrigold is the first one, dried oak leaf is the other, and the honey is homey comb and the good on the garlic and cobwebs." Icefeather was proud that her new apprentice knew so much. "Now Cobwebs are used for wrapping it around an injury to soak up the blood and keep the wound clean. Stops bleeding too. Make sure you don't pick up any spiders though. Dired oak leave are used for stopping infections. Honey comb is for soothing infections or the throats of cats who have breathed in smoke. Any other questions?"

"Um, nope! do we need any of these right now?" woofed Diamondpaw. she was excited now that she knew more about these herbs, and wanted to use them
(hmmm pretend Blizzardpaw got a thorn in his paw, comes limping in...)

"Blizzardpaw are you ok?" Icefeather asked the limping apprentice. "I have a thorn in my paw." Blizzardpaw complained. "Ok. Diamondpaw get marrigold and cobwebs." And Icefeather walked over to see the patient.

Diamondpaw's eyes sparkled but then she felt guilty and nodded quickly and limped back and picked up the items
Blizzardpaw grimaced as he sat down and held the paw out, blood trickling onto the floor

Diamondpaw nodded. "No problem!"
she leaned over and carefully yanked out the thorn (Blizzardpaw yelped!). then she spat out blood and chewed up a marigold leaf and licked the juice into the tiny scratch lol and then pressed a pawful of web to it. YAY!
