Talking to Icefeather

Diamondpup had been a bit down lately, two reasons
one day she was stalking a leaf, practicing hunting, and when she pounced it was clumsy and dust clouded around her making her cough
Clearpup had teased her tht if she was hunting a dust bunny, that was very good!
she knew he hadnt meant it but it made her think her shoulder wasnt going to heal anymore and though it didnt hurt, it just didnt work right either
sigh
then she had a dream
a pale white puppy came bounding towards her, pale blue eyes bright like stars
she was young, and by the stars in her fur, Diamondpup guessed that she was dead.
"Hello there Diamondpup, my name is Starrypup. i have something to tell you. though your pawsteps may be crooked and unsure, your destiny isn't. find the right path and dont give up!" she giggled, and faded, and Diamondpup jolted away
then she limped to the med wolf den "Icyfeather? Hello? i have... to ask you something..."

(oh....so she is going to be a med wolf apprentice? That means when she is older there can be forbidden love....dun dun dun lolololol jk)

(lol yup! she cnt be a warrior and realized it... lol yeah...)

"Yes Diamondpup?" Icefeather asked.

"I uh, i..." she felt unsure now, and pawed at the dust, and suddenly the wind swirled into the den, catching a marigold leaf and tumbling it towards her, and her fell at her paws, and a burst of confidence flooded her for some reason "I would like to be your apprentice" she woofed firmly, determinedly, sure of her decision, her destin, and stood up, her wounded shoulder not mattering a bit right now, only the glow in her eyes like golden diamonds

Clearpup bounced in at that moment."Ohhhh so your going to be a medicine wolf apprentice? That is sooooo cool!"He barked.

"Clearpup leave us to talk." Once Clearpup left she turned to diamondpup. "Why do you want to be my apprentice?" She asked wondering why she wanted to be a med. wolf and not a warrior, after all she looked like she dreamed of being a warrior.

"Well yes, i did want to be a warrior, but more then that, i want to be the best I can be. My shoulder is never going ot heal all the way, and if this is the best way I can be useful, be the best I can be, and you are willing ot train me, i would be honored to be a med. wolf app." Diamondpup woofed humbly

[Silentee]

She thought of her dream. "Of course. Between you and me I think it's your destiny to be a med. wolf." Icefeather continued. "But you can not have pup." She warned the pup.

Diamondpup's eyes lit up, then when Icefeather mentioned pups she shrugged "Im a pup myself, i hardly need ot worry about that! but i understand. I cant fall in love or take a mate either"

"Than yes I will take you as my apprentice." Icefeather said with pride.

Diamondpup's eyes sparkled and she bounced over and licked Icefeather's cheek "Thank you sooooooo much! I will try my hardest, and um learn all the herbs, and um do everything to tell me too! WOO HoO!"

"Now go.'
