Ember ad Songheart nodded. Ember waited for a salmon until one practically swam up to him. Gotcha!He thought, but a splash distracted him as Songheart caught her fish. The salmon swam away. "Songheart!" He complained, but soon he had one too.

Greyhowl saw another flash of salmon and he quickly caught it but he lost his balance and fell in. He sputtered some water out but started swimming around."Nice and cool!"He barked.

Ember laughed and pushed Songheart in. Songheart grabbed his scruff and pulled him in to. They both started laughing.

"Hey wait up!", Reedsong barked, running after them. She finally gor to the river bank and scanned the depths for a fish. "Guys, it's easier to catch salmon when you're in the water, like this..", she woofed and splashed into the cool water. Instead of leaping at every single thing that moved, Reedsong stood quietly and waited. Then, a fish, salmon, flipped out of the water. Quick as lightning, Reedsong launched after it and snapped her teeth down, catching the fish. "Sghhe?", she told them, muttering under a mouthful of scales.

Songheart laughed. "Good idea!" Ember stayed on the bank though. "I like this way best." He explained.

Reedsong dropped the fish onto the bank and went back to catch some more. "We should tell Rosestar of our new-found bounty."

Songheart nodded. "Lets go! Rosestar can send out another hunting patrol later. Emberpelt grabbed his fish and followed her towards camp.
(Yeah, Ember is y wolf on another website.)
