Zon got up painfully, he felt his paw sprained. He bared his teeth at Keeva but held his tongue.
Kae shot Zon a sorry looking look.
Zon just nodded glaring at Keeva,

Diogenes took the silence as a yes. He looked sternly at Zon and Kae. "Zon, I gave Keeva and Layla orders to maintain Kae, as to obtain some answers from her comment. You know when I give an order, it is not to be questioned or persuaded from not doing so. And Kae, if you continue keeping your mouth shut about your powers, then I'll shut it permanently. Enough is enough."

Kae opened her mouth to protest, but then snapped it shut.
Zon glared at Diogenes.

Keeva nodded. "Kae, from now on only speak when myself or Diogenes tell you to. Is that clear?" she snarled. "Layla, release when she agrees," she ordered.
Layla nodded weakly.

Layla released the cuffs and ran over to Zon. She helped to keep her brother on his paws, and let his head rest on her back. Layla glared at Keeva. Sorry, brother, Layla thought.
"There. See, isn't that easy?" Keeva growled and walked into the shadows.

Kae walked over to Zon and licked his muzzle. Then whispering thanks she sulked into the shadows.
