Taintedsoul sat on a rock, enjoying the scarce rays of light before they vanish for the winter. Sighing, he had a lot on his mind. Know that he couldn't find anyone to love. He had, however been eying Dawnrunner. She was polite, gentle, and beautiful, and made his heart drum. If only she saw me.....

Dawnrunner was eatting a large chunk of deer when she felt eyes on her back and she turned around, smiling at Taintedsoul. "Come and join me!" She called out.

Taintedsoul looked around him, for another wolf. Surely she wasn't talking to him? "Me?" he woofed, heart beating as he got to his paws.

Dawnrunner heard a tiny sound that sounded like drumming but she dismissed it. "No, I was talking to the tree!" She smiled at her sarcastic remark and then got serious. "Yup, you Taintedsoul."

Taintedsoul smiled wide. "I know, just making sure," he came back. Padding over to Dawnrunner, he sat beside her. "So what's going on?" the deputy asked.

"Nothing much, still breathing. How's deputy?" Dawnrunner asked.
Deerkill walked out of the warrior's den and went into the nursery.

Cottonpup bursted out of the nursery, past her father.

"Oh.... Fun? Well do you want to go hunting?" Dawnrunner asked.
Deerkill stopped Cottonpup with a gentle step on the brushy tail. "And where are you doing?" Oakpup ran out and then stopped to see that Deekill was looming over Cottonpup/

"I would be honoured to," Taintedsoul smiled.
"Oakpup and I were playing, and she's Keeva and she's gonna eat me!" Cottonpup wailed as she ran around Deerkill to hide from Oakpup.

Jadeflower watched the two warriors with a smile as she lay soaking up as much sun as she could before winter came. Honeypup was playing with a ball of moss next to her mother.
(just for the record, Honeypup is an only child, since SOMEONE never made her pup bio. *glares at rainy*)
