Blackfur sat in the nursery, silent and lonely, even with Sandpup and Shadepup next to him(and probably Frostpool). He couldn't get Whitepup out of his mind.

Frostpool hasn't eaten in days and was becoming weak. Her once beautiful full figure was now a skeleton, with little flesh. Tears have permentantly stained her cheeks, and her face was in her paws. "She's gone," she mumbled.

Moonsky was desolate, feeling their pain. She gathered Talonpup and Mistypup with her tail. She looked at Frostpool and Blackfur. "I'm really sorry about this. I wish I could help, but I don't know what to do." Mistypup was silent of course. She missed her friend. Her brother licked her cheek sympathetically.

"I'll never play with, talk to her, or even be next to her ever again," Shadepup whispered. He looked like a skeleton with flesh, like frostpool. Sandpup still looked normal. She had been forcing herself to eat.
Blackfur looked at Shadepup and Frsotpool. "You two have to eat. I don't want you to suffer any more."

Just as Blackfur spoke, Tainteddream padded into the nursery, carrying fresh-kill for Frostpool, Blackfur, Moonsky, Mistypup, Talonpup, Sandpup, and Shadepup. He set the prey down gingerly, looking at his fellow Packmates. "For you all.", he stated.

Frostpool smiled weakly in Tainteddream's direction. "Thank you," she rasped. Frostpool pushed her share to Shadepup, forcing him to eat. She laid back down, not eating.

Blackfur pushed his prey towards Frostpool. "You need to eat. I don't want to lose you too."

Frostpool grimaced. "Eat my son. You are the future, the life of this pack. Only you and the other pups can change this pack. I am simply the past, and my breaths are limited. Children come first, always," she rasped.

emeraldblaze walked in to see blackpup. Blackpup came running and tackled emeraldblaze "frostpool isnt doing too good" blackpup whispered in emeraldblazes ear "frostpool i know its been hard on you and everything but you got to eat" emeraldblaze said to her

Frostpool sighed roughly. "I shall not eat until Sandpup and Shadepup are full, then I will eat," she woofed and looked in the direction of Blackfur's voice.

Moonsky sighed. She would have done the same. To try and brighten the mood, she said, "You can never sway a mother from her decisions. Heh..."
