She nodded her head. "I'll lure her to you, and you get the final blow. Give me the signal with your tail when you're ready," she whispered. She creeped around the doe, to her side. She wriggled her haunches and waited for Cheetahheart's signal.

Cheetahheart waited for the doe to slip into the right position. He waved his tail, and tensed, waiting.

Sundance jumped out her hiding place, and nipped the doe's side. The deer reared up, the fled. Sundance chased her towards where Cheetahheart was, and nipped at her heels.

As the doe gracefully bounded towards him, Cheetahheart sprang up from his hiding place. The doe reared up and struck him with it's forehoof, slicing a cut just above his left eye. Regardless, he plunged his fangs into the deer's neck and killed it swiftly.

Cheetahheart panted. His heart was racing, reverberating in his rib cage. "All thanks to you."

She smiled and flushed. "Well, erm, thanks. You killed it. Alright, let's take her back to camp," she woofed. Sundance grabbed a leg.

Cheetahheart nodded and grabbed another leg, and began to pull.

The two wolves dragged the doe back to camp, and placed their prey on the pile. Sundance tore off a piece for herself, and one for Cheetahheart.

After taking a bite, Cheetahheart looked at Sundance. "You are very graceful when you run.", he commented.

Swanflight watched from the warrior's den, and sighed happily.
