Cheetahheart twitched his ears in confusion.
Brokensong looked at Songstar. Which Pack will take these pups?, she pondered.
Tainteddream wondered the same thing, observing the leaders.

Songstar rose. "Are you saying that a Riverpack wolf fathered Lyric's pups?" She asked quietly. A scene played in her mind:
Lyric was stained in blood. A wolf hung limps in her jaws. Songstar recognized the markings. White and red on brown and black. Jenalynn. Songstar howled in fury, throwing herself upon Lyric. She laughed, enveloping her in black pain. She fell to the ground for the second time that night, only to heave herself up again and rake her claws over the face of her sister's murderer.
Songstar shook her head, trying to stay in the present.

Treeheart's eyes widened. 'Voicewalk had a dream?' The Medicine Cat never told her.
"I agree, they should go to Riverpack if the father is there, but who is the father?" Snakestar asked.

Emberpelt shifted uncomfortably, ducking his head, wondering if anyone would notice that two of the pups had the same pelt markings as him.
Venus snorted. "Apparently the brave warrior doesn't want to identify himself." She woofed. "ANyway, will Riverpack take these pups?"
Songstar hesitated. "Riverpack will care for these pups and we will train them. However we will not give them warrior names."

'You won't?' Snakestar thought in his head, and almost said out loud. He turned to the warriors, looking for ones of Riverpack. He began to search the crowd.

Snakestar looked at Emberpelt. He noticed that he looked like two of the pups, but pretended to keep looking. He had his eye on Emberpelt.

Moonfeather glared at Emberpelt, but said nothing. She looked up at Whitestar, and the other leaders. "Whitestar, we must get back to the gathering," she murmured. Taintedsoul nodded his head in agreement.

Creekfall,Jetfur and Cloverclaw sat next to spellkiller. The only thing they didnt know was that Gladeshadow cheated on Spellkiller when he was there on another wolf named Blacktooth.

Whitestar nodded her head in agreement. "So it is settled then; Riverpack claims the pups. Now on to the Gathering!", she caterwauled, to get everyone's attention. When the noise settled, Whitestar sat back down again, her tail neatly wrapped around her paws. "Who will start first?"

Silentstar motioned for Whitestar curtly. Though she and Whitestar were friends, they still fought in the end.

"Thank you, Silentstar.", Whitestar woofed, and stepped forward. "There has been no trouble in Shadowpack. Starpack has blessed our nursery with the pups of Phoenixfeather and Moonrun. Also, Moonfeather is the new deputy."
