Kota looked at rorapaw and then at his brother kodiak and said "i want to stay here with rorapaw" they looked at him and then bryioth hit kota "You will Never be in a pack!" kodiak ran over to kota "if kota want to stay then i want to too" kodiak said "None of my pups will be pack members" brioth hit kodiak.

"You coward!" Moonchase snarled. "What kind of a father are you? Hitting your pups?! So help me I will Kill you!" he snarled and leaped at Bryioth. He sunk his fangs into his neck and scored his claws down his side.

Reedpaw watched helplessly as the adults fought. She padded over to Kota and Kodiak, her eyes sympathetic. She didn't know what to say, so she sat between them, her tail tip brushing Kota's flank, and her left paw on Kodiak's paw, for comfort.

Bryioth faught and then gave up. he pushed moonchase off of him and then ran leaving him pups there thinking 'if they want to they betrayed me and they can stay' he ran into the woods. kodiak woke up and went over to kota "kota wake up are u okay" kota opened his eyes and said "did bryioth leave" "yes he did leave but what are we to do now?" kodiak said

"YOU COWARD! THAT'S RIGHT, YOU BETTER RUN!" Moonchase howled. Then he licked his leg and walked over to Kota and Kodiak. "I'm sorry your father left you. If you have no where else to stay, maybe you could stay here for a while," Moonchase woofed.
