Moonpaw stood to her paws, the bleeding had stopped. "We need to get you looked at," she insisted.
"Moonpaw! Moonpaw?!" Ashpaw's urgent howl sounded behind them. He saw the dead mountain lion and blood. "Moonpaw are you okay?" he asked licking her wounds. He whipped to Bramble. "How dare you let this happen to her?!" he growled."Ashpaw! Shut up!" she snarled back, stepping in front of Bramble. "He saved me. Unlike you!" Ashpaw growled at Moonpaw. "I'm sorry. I couldn't forgive myself if you died. I love you," he whispered. Moonpaw felt tears down her cheek then she growled,"I DON'T WANT YOU! I WANT HIM!"

Bramble looked at Moonpaw with wide eyes. "Are-are you sure?" He whisper and he looked at Ashpaw/

Moonpaw turned her head towards Bramble. "I am absolutely sure," she woofed confidently.
Ashpaw growled one last time then vanished into the woods. "I hope Keeva comes and gets you, Moonpaw!" he howled.

Bramble eyes softened. "Thank you," He whispered but then when Ashpaw called out that he snarled. "I should cut his throat!"

Moonpaw licked his muzzle. "I know, he knew I didn't feel the same love as he did. I felt the sibling love, not the mate love," she woofed simply. She stuck her head under Bramble's and helped lift him to his paws.
