"It is time!" Keeva howled. Her bright yellow aura shone around her. Tokeshima's white aura and Layla's earthy green aura shone brightly.
Moonfeather cowered into Bramblethorn. All of my other wolves gasped and growled.
Yue and Aikido leaped out behind Rock and Snake.
Starscream's aqua aura lit up the barn.

Mistpaw's fur bristled, and her usually calm eyes burned with anger. "How can they take an innocent kit like that?" she cried.

Briarpaw nodded in agreement. "I'll show them!" she vowed under her breath. She ran in front of the leaders and towards Keeva. "How dare you join with the pup-killers!" she howled. Tokeshima sprang out in front of Keeva and grabbed Briarpaw by the neck. "Don't come any closer or I'll kill the girl!" he threatened. Warm tears ran down Briarpaw's cheeks.

Moonchase ran over to Mistpaw, and gently bit her tail to hold her back.
Moonfeather, Yue, and Aikido gasped. "Tokeshima!"

"No! Stay back or do you want Briarpaw to die?" Moonchase's voice was muffled.
Tokeshima laughed. "Any last words, runt?" he sneered.
Briarpaw's face was wet with tears. "Everyone, remember that Briarpaw died like a real wolf!" she howled. She managed to rake her back claws down his eyes. Tokeshima dropped her, and Brairpaw turned to face the huge Renegade. She ran towards Tokeshima a leaped up the sunk her fangs in his head, but he foresaw it and quickly grabbed her neck. With a powerful bite, a snap echoed through the clearing, followed by Briarpaw's dying howl. Tokeshima dropped the limp apprentice, her neck severed and broken. His gray throat was now crimson.
"Briarpaw! Briarpaw!" all my wolves chanted in loss. Moonfeather started to cry.

Mistpaw ran to her body, sobbing. Then, she flung herself onto Tokeshima, howling "Briarpaw!" She raked her claws down his belly fur.

Tokeshima growled and grabbed the apprentice's tail. He flung her into Moonchase, then stood by Keeva.
Keeva thingyed her eyebrow. "Renegades, Sun's Death! Ready yourselves!" she howled.
Malvina, Whiteice, Tokeshima, Layla, Rory, and Anastasia howled together in ready.

All my wolves howled in sorrow and fury. Reedpaw's eyes were tearing up. Briarpaw had been one of her best friends. She wanted revenge.
Whiterain snarled. "Heathens! You will pay for this!" With that, she flung herself into the fray, tackling the nearest wolf; Dio. They spun in vicious circles on the ground, fur flying. Adolescent locked with the older, but Whiterain had more experience, yet Dio had something she did not. Dio snarled. He blew a raven lock out of his face, revealing mix-matched eyes. One silver, one blue. While they tussled, biting scratching, kicking, a silvery substance flowed from the white she-wolf. Dio felt her weaken, and she easily slipped off him, appearing deflated. He went for the neck.
Ravenfire and Nightstream split away from their mates to double-fight. Together, the sisters were unstoppable. They leaped as one towards Rory.
Emberpaw locked gazes with Whiteice, her dear friend. Though she knew Whiteice was no longer in allegiance with the code, but she had to try. Her brother, Blackpaw, tried to pull her back, but Wildpaw tugged him back. "Let her do this.", he whispered. Dragonpaw also watched, to his horror.

Rory tensed himself, and focused on something deep inside him. Suddenly, he became huge and muscular like Moonchase. He lunged for Ravenfire and scored his fangs down her neck. Suddenly a rock cameout of no where and hit Nightstream in the flank. "Fight me, Packscum!" Layla snarled and lunged at her.
Whiteice ran at Emberpaw and grabbed her neck. With her back legs, she tripped her former friend and clawed at her underbelly. "I have no respect for you! Any of you!" she snarled.
Moonfeather and Thunderheart ran over and bowled over Dio. Thunderheart clamped his teeth around Dio's neck, and didn't look at his eyes. "Whiterain! Whiterain!" Moonfeather barked at her deputy's limp body.
Venomfang threw himself at Keeva, Moonchase at Recif.
