August 2009 Gathering

[Moony]

Jerome fell to the ground. "No. I was too late. I'm sorry, mother," he cried into the ground.

Moonfeather rolled her eyes, but she knew what a medicine wolf had to do.

[Emeraldblaze]

Bloodlust spit up a big puddle of blood "moonrun" he said scaredly "am im going to die? cause if i leave tonight i will tell you mom that im sorry for killing her and that it wasnt my fault and everything."

Emeraldblaze looked at him with wide eyes "bloodlust dont think about leaving me or your mate"

Jetfur looked at him and didnt know what to say. "its okay just hush and ur not going to die i know it"

Bluejay walked over and saw that "oh no thats not good"


Demonfang stayed with her brothers body protecting it and crying her eyes out.

[Moonlit]

Recif turned to Sun's Death, hidden with him just out of sight. A large group of wolves stepped forward. Recif smiled. "I kept some of you out of the fight for a reason. I want all of you, and any wolves who can still fight to split into four groups. Kayto, Rose, Pendergast, and (who was the other wolf who was gong to get a leader position, I think it was Blackrose...) to lead each patrol. Each of you pick a pack and destroy them. Kill if you must but capture the leaders, deputies, and kits. Kill anyone else you want, but leave some if you can." He laughed again. "Go on then."

Pendergast nodded, and disappeared.

[Moonlit]

A few wolves followed him.

[Moony]

Moonfeather snarled as the Sun's Death wolves ran away. She limped over to Echohowl and sat beside her, watching Breezesong chew. The broken warrior chewed her leaf and swallowed painfully. "I feel a little better," she croaked.

Moonfeather smiled. "Echohowl, we must get to camp. I have a feeling that something isn't right," she insisted.

Moonchase stood with Moondust. "How are you feeling?" he asked.

Pendergast arrived in Shadowpack's camp. His gut told him this wasn't right, to go capturing his own father, but orders were orders. Without a sound, he stalked into the leader's den. Damon and Windchill were with Pendergast, and they searched the camp for stragglers. Damon peeked into the nursery, and found a reddish-brown pup being guarded by Nettlefur, an elder. {I just made him up}. "Hey Windchill, look over here. I found--", he began, but Windchill cut him off. "Yes, I already know what you've found.", she sighed. Damon shook his brown head. "I don't like you supernatural lot. Especially you; you know everything.", Damon growled. Windchill grinned half-heartedly, her turquiose eyes narrowed. Damon attacked and killed the elder, while Windchill grabbed Littlepup.


Echohowl nodded. "Breezesong, do you think you can manage from here? If not, I can get someone to help you."


Whiterain, who was calmly laying down, leaped to her feet when she heard a sharp scream. "Littlepup!", she yowled, and coughed. Her motherly instincts kicked in and she, regardless of her savage wounds, bounded away towards camp.


Echohowl turned to see Whiterain bounding away. "Whiterain, no! You're not strong enough to fight!", she howled, and followed her deputy.

[Moonlit]

Moondust shrugged. "Same as a few minutes ago, same as a few hours ago, same as a few days ago. Only now Im covered in cuts and bruises. She smiled lopsidedly at Moonrun.

Songstar counted her wolves. So many were missing. The names ran through her head. 7 lives left. She would join them soon. Softly she called her wolves to her, they formed a small ragged group. "Gather the dead and help me carry them back to camp." She ordered. "I am anxious to leave this place."

Kayto motioned for a few more wolves to follow him. Venus among them. She flinched as their pelts touched. "Lets go." He ordered, turning tail on the gathering and heading for Riverpack camp.

Savannah and North followed Pendergast and the others into camp. Savannah went to check the dens while North was left on guard.

North howled softly. Savannah pushed her was out of a den and bounded towards the nursery. "Shadowpack!" SHe warned.

[Moony]

"No! Whiterain!" Moonfeather called. "Venomfang, Sundance, Swanflight, Thunderclap, Stingingpaw! Hurry! Follow her!" Moonfeather ordered as she followed Whiterain's trail. The others followed.

"Good, I'm glad you're okay," he murmured. He licked Moondust's ear.

[Emeraldblaze]

Bloodlust looked at moonrun "well i guess this is good-bye" he said softly to moonrun. "No you cant die your my friend and buddy" Emeraldblaze said. "moonrun please take care of the pups for me and tell them i was a good warrior and everything" he said then spit out more blood. Jetfur looked at him and started crying.

[((Red))]

Clearpaw picked up Aquapaw's body and headed for camp.

"It's ok, It's ok," Redfur tried to calm Demonfang down. Then, he looked at Brightwing. She was wobbling. "Are you ok?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine," she whispered, and then coughed out blood. Brighteing fell to the ground, revealing a huge cut down her stomach, and blood spilled out of it. Redfur gasped. "We need a Medicine Wolf! Fast!" he screamed.

[Moonlit]

aNgelpaw pushed through the crowd. SOmewhere she had found herbs. "Its okay, Im here." She grunted already chewing herbs and rubbing them into Brightwing's wound. "Horsetail, cobwebs, poppy seeds for pain." She muttered.

[((Red))]

(you can let her die)(and back at thunderpack camp, you can kill coldstone, but after redfur gets in the elder's den)

[Moonlit]

Angelpaw hung her head. "Its to late for herbs, she's almost gone." Gently she gave Brightwing some poppy seeds. "At least she won't be in any pain."

[((Red))]

Brightwing began to cough out blood. "I give you my thanks," she whispered as her vision began to fade. 'I give my life to Redfur, and Demonfang, for helping me in these tough times, and I pray that they survive this battle, which I know isnt over,' Brightwing prayed. "The battle isnt over, you need to fight hard, for everyone that you care about. Even the ones who have kept secrets from you," Brightwing said her final words. Her breathing stopped, and she went limb. She was dead.

Redfur looked at Demonfang. "Coldstone has been keeping a secret from me. Maybe he is in trouble," Redfur was worried. He picked up Brightwing body. "We have to go to Thunderpack camp! Now!"

(this was a little while before SD left the gathering)
Aleera through off Blazepaw, and he landed into Hazelpaw. She picked up Keeva. "We have to leave. Layla's pups will be coming soon." She left, not listening to Keeva might say.

Rock picked up blood covered Maplepaw. She was limb but not dead. "Let's go back to the gathering," he said.
(and now they came back)
Blazepaw and Hazelpaw carried Maplepaw to Angelpaw to be treated.
"Rock!" Snake called. Rock turned around to face him, 'Whiterain has lead a fighting patrol to Shadowpack. We need to help them," he said. "Ok, let's go," Rock said as he and Snake headed for Shadowpack camp.

Blazepaw and Hazelpaw followed Redfur(and probably Demonfang) to Thunderpack camp.

Clearpaw was carrying Aquapaw's body back to camp when he heard someone talking to him. Aquapaw sent him a message. "Be careful about what will are about to see. Danger awaits ahead........."Clearpaw froze. "Aquapaw?" he asked.

"Are you ok?" Stonefang asked him.

"yeah, I'm fine," Clearpaw said as they headed for camp. He was worried.

Blackfur also heard Littlepup's scream. "If Shadowpack's camp is being attacked, whats happening to Windpack camp?" he asked himself, out loud. 'What going to happen to Shadepup, Sandpup, and Frostpool?'

Shadepup popped out of his hiding spot. "Daddy!" he cheered as he ran up to him.

"Shadepup!!! What are you doing here?" he asked.

"I heard that you were in trouble, and I wanted to help," he said.

Blackfur was touched by Shadepup's kindness, but then he remembered Sandpup and Frostpool."It may be your sister and your mother that are in trouble," he told his son. "Come, we need to see if they are ok," Blackfur said as he and Shadepup headed for Windpack camp.
(maybe Whiteice will come to save them)

"I need go, Foxfur. The Shadowpack pups, queens and elders are in trouble," Darkstorm said.

"Hey guys wait!" Jaywing said as the warrior caught up to Stonefang and Clearpaw.
