Two small wolves padded along, side-by-side. They were looking for their mother; the same thing they had been doing for some time. The white male called out, and the only sound reverberating to their ears were mere echos. The gray-brown she-wolf looked at him, her brilliant blue eyes clouded with grief....and was that defeat?....flickering there. "It's no use, Adagio. Our mother does not want us. We should give up.", she sighed. Adagio looked at his sister. "Cadence I--", he began, but heard a russling in the undergrowth........

Tokeshima and Starscream were doing a hunting patrol, when they saw two lone pups. The padded out of the bush. "Hello, are you lost?" Starscream asked. Tokeshima rolled his eyes and snorted.

Cadence, frightened, crouched low to the ground, trembling. Adagio, however, stepped in front of his sister in a defensive position. "Um....no! Well..yes......", he replied, bristling a little.

"Don't worry. If you are lost we have a place for you to stay," Starscream woofed. Tokeshima seemed a little interested. They could join The Renegades, he thought.

Fiend stalked into the clearing, pushing bushes out of the way. Little bits of twig and grass burst into flame, showing his annoyance. The golden wolf was soaking wet. He looked up when he saw the other wolves. looking awkward, he stopped and shook out his wet fur. "Oh, hi." He grunted.

This time, Cadence stepped forward. "Really?", she asked, a curious mixture of wistfulness and unexplainable sorrow.

Starscream turned around. "Hello grumpy paws," she teased lightly.
Tokeshima nodded. "Indeed, little ones. Would you like to join us? We are called the Renegades," he woofed.

Fiend rolled his eyes. "You'd be grumpy to if someone jumped on you while you were fishing." He woofed. He shook out his pelt again, this time using his gift to dry it all the way. "Who are the pups?" He asked.

Cadence looked at Tokeshima, Starscream, and Fiend. "If it will spare us from insanity from this mindless wandering, then sure, we will join."

Tokeshima and Starscream nodded. The aging male turned around, he looked over his shoulder and woofed,"Come." Starscream walked behind the pups with Fiend.

Fiend snorted. "It might. Or Diogness might eat you." He paused, then started laughing to show it was a joke.

Cadence's eyes widened in horror, then laughed with nervous amusement. Adagio followed.
