Fallentear watched the whole thing. She recalled something similar that happened to her when she was an apprentice. He had left her after a simple miscommunication. Dragonpaw curled up in his nest, feeling terrible.

Whitepup debated if she should go and apologize to Dragonpaw for acting so harsh. She got to her paws and walked over to the apprentice den, then she would double back and go back to Envy. Then she would go in circles, to Envy or Dragonpaw, to Envy or Dragonpaw? Finally, she sat in the middle and sighed.
