Zebraheart was so happy her apprentice was alive. "Thank you Blazepaw!" she gasped and gave him a lick. "I think we should go and help them. I can't leave Deerkill! Come on!" she whispered.

Blazepaw was ready for the fight. He followed Zebraheart to Deerkill.

"Oh, no!" she gasped and stopped abruptly. Rose was fighting Deerkill, where was Foxfur? She quickly grabbed Blazepaw's scruff and hauled herself and her apprentice into a near-by tree. She slapped her tail over his mouth, to keep quiet. On their branch they were high enough to see Deerkill and Foxfur.
"Deerkill! She's safe!" Foxfur howled to Deerkill. "Come on!"

"They are called Sun's Death. They hate the packs and want to kill us and the sun. That one fighting Deerkill is Rose, she's Silentstar's sister," she whispered back.
