Rust was padding through the forest, just coming back from the twolegplace and eating garbage, his reddish fur glowing like fire.
suddnely he caught a strange scent, STRANGE WOLVES!
one was a small gray pup and he pounced on Rust, knocking him over. Rust fought back bravely, and wriggled free. the gray wolf raced after him, and Rust spun around to face him, surprising them both
"ENOUGH! both of you!" a bluish wolf and a golden wolf stepped out of the bushes
"Stripedpaw, that is enough."
Stripedpaw stepped back, and the blue wolf spoke again " Nice job, both of you. I have never seen a wolf-dog do that. Would you be interested in joining ThunderPAck? I am Bluetail, and this is Goldenheart."
the gold male nodded, and Rust looked shocked "I, um, i... i would be honored."
Stripedpaw giggled, and woofed "Hey wanna be my friend?"
"Sure!" Rust bounded after them, when Bluetail stopped, eyes wide as she looked at the red pup "Your fur! it glows like fire! from this moment forward, you shall be known as Firepaw"
(lol i did change things a bit, hee hee but i think you can notice and remember it from the book)
