the red furred wolf padded into the den and flopped in his nest, exhausted after a long day of hunting and training
but he had loved every minute of it, it beat his old life by a long shot!

Jadepaw looked at Firepaw curiously. "Firepaw, could you tell me about your old life? you dont have to if you dont want to." she added quickly.

Firepaw tipped his head "I dont mind" he smiled "Sure, i was a lonely loner who roamed the edges of Twolegplace, neither a pet nor a warrior, very lonely! i ate the trash there, ew it tasted worse then crowfood sometimes! but they was some good stuff, like pizza and steak but that was rare. no warm nest and you always had to keep moving, you couldn ever stay in one place. most of the other rouges wewre mean, greedy, and not very friendly..." he trailed off, eyes distant

Jadepaw watched him and sighed. "well, at least you remember your old life." She had been found as a pup, suffering from amnesia. she had been apprentice age, so the pack took her in and named her Jadepaw, after her unusual jade green eyes. "well, im glad your here now, and not eating out of the garbage." she added, nose wrinkling at the thought.

Firepaw laughed and nudged her gently "You know, your past isnt near as important as the present. Im glad you are with us here, in ThunderPack, NOW."

Jadepaw smiled. "yeah, your right. now, be quite and let me get some sleep!" she growled playfully, nudging him.

"Ok, ok." he rolled over onto his belly, which for some reason, was how he slept "Night Jadey."

Jadepaw rolled over on her back, legs curled in the air and barked sleepily "night, Firepaw."

"Night night Jadey!" he sprawled out taking up like half the den lol SNOREZ!

Jadepaw opened her mouth for a reply, but thought better of it and fell asleep to the sounds of Firepaw's snores
